Eh, you lose about 100 damage doing 6c>j.bc>dj.cc>etc. I guess it isn't that big a deal, and I admit I do normally opt for that since I can't seem to hj.c without doing j.236c on pad if my life depended on it. (Which is really weird since I can hit 2cc>hj.c all day. :psyduck:)

Similar to Halcyone3 I used to j.2369C and had no idea what was going on. I found that an 8-jump has always been sufficient as opposed to 9-jumping, which is why I j.2369C'd. Jumping straight up has always let me combo, even hjc j.B>j.C>djc j.CC>j.236A>j.214C. Maybe that will help? Maybe you'll start j.2147C'n by accident instead :\

u give her a staff, give her a skimpy outfit, dye her hair black, and have terumi mindfuck her into having a slime fettish.

waiting for the rebalance while praying to whatever god u believe in works too i suppose.

oh, u can also go into eery match thinking to urself "hey, at least it's not rachel".

In order for Tsubaki to not suck, you have to look for the second star to the right that appears on a blue moon during a planetary alignment during December 21 2012 on an erupting volcano. Then you have to throw a dragon's egg into the erupting volcano and chant "siht gnoid rof diputs leef I" backwards while holding a baby elephant with one hand and your first-born child on the other. Then afterward, you throw yourself into the volcano and sacrifice yourself.

In other words...it's impossible to make her not suck. The best you can do is make yourself not suck, though that's almost as impossible as making her not suck.

Now you guys know what I've been dealing with since December 09. "Tsubaki's not bad!" etc etc etc.

The truest of Tsubaki players are strong. Strong enough to realize that they're wasting their effort playing Tsubaki who sucks. I just hope that even when she gets patched for the better, her players will stay the same--stubborn idiots.

8b seems pretty uselese. lt looks like 2bb can do everythng it can but better. Is it good to mix in on IB happy op's or should l not even bother?

Question about BnB combos... well i don't really have seen lots of Tsubaki vids, but most of the time when they have access to combos without charge they do 5BB>2BB>5CC>236A series, why not 5BB>5CC>214a>22[C]>6C>623A series... as far as i know this also give similar result with few point more damage (about 100) and more heat gain ... so why not using the second option?

Charging is better on the ground, because it's safer. Tsubaki prioritizes charging over 100 damage.

I am going to assume that you're talking about 6B? At the very least with 1 charge 6BB can lead to 2922 damage. I don't think 2BB will net you quite as much, I believe 2542. So, it's good to mix it up with a slightly different move (they might even see the startup and try to hit you out of it only to eat a CH 6B which leads to 2967 for 1 charge), plus it leads to more damage with charge. Without charge, who cares you're doing shit damage anyway, so as long as it combos into 22[C] it doesn't matter. It's just more mixup. It's... probably better than nothing?

6B isn't useless, it makes you rage when it happens instead of dashing 5b!

I still feel it isn't worth complaining about tiers in America, since you can get better and take care of that. (Top Japanese Tsubaki's would likely shit on American top tiers just as most top Jp players do.) Hopefully I'll see just how far behind I am at the 3v3 qual sunday if it does happen. =)

Also, cool new combo vid out. At least Tsu has 2 of the best combo vids out so far haha. And FC 6cc>j.cc>j.236a>j.214c>j.d>fall j.c>5b>hj.bc>dj.cc>j.236a>j.214c is a lot of fun.

Question, if any of you would be kind enough to answer it. Tsubaki's, at least for me, heat gain is incredibly low. Against a Bang earlier, we were both down to a sliver of health, I used no heat and yet I only had 65. Is there anyway to increase it? I know 6CC is pretty good for it. But it isn't practical for regular use...

Or omit the second c and continue the combo.

As for heat - Tsubaki's heat is pretty trashy, but luckily if you can IB it goes up faster- wait, why do you even have low heat at the end of a round? Her supers are garbage.

Didn't I say in my post that I used no heat and yet it was only at 65?

Besides, the supers may be garbage, but Dead Angles and RCs are most definatly not.

Tsubaki Install is really good damage (for her) off quite a few hits and magical girl super is nice if you've done some long combo into j.214d.

I think you can even do Install Blood Kain style to get a second and see what is up, then d dp them.

Her tension gain screw my Astral finish! ... when my opponent is about to die, if i didn't get proper beating i only have about 60~70heat FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF~~~
