The only thing that isn't broken about test/slayer is the fact that due to there being 5 million players for both characters, you get to learn the match ups really well:psyduck: I was dumb and didn't play enough when there was still 5 million eddies, so I still some what suck at that match :/

well, survival borderline is still winnable in GG, Lime-Key and BLEED and Ruu prove that, but actually trying to win with those characters (or learn them, in Bridget and Johnny's case) is EDIT: Besides, the survival borderline in GG is pretty good where it is, considering with 3rd strike its like Yun Chun ----SURVIVAL BORDERLINE---- Ken Mako everyone else

I dont really see what your talking about so an explanation would be nice I notice you highlighted a couple things why are they wrong? Testament can be shut down pretty easily imo by certain characters Robo ky is too good high defense and offense Ryu and Yang have been all over including SBO

Certain characters doesn't mean all characters. Testament still has an easy game against a lot of characters in the cast. Also OS is definitely above Sol in the tier list. He was that about a year ago and his damage improved, Sol's didn't. Ryu and Yangs suck, they don't compare to Chun and Yun. Its that simple. Even Ken who is by all means average and has no weaknesses against nearly everyone of the casts dies to Chun. Dudley, Urien, Ken, Makoto, Akuma and Yang are able to compete and do fairly well, but definitely don't have it as easy as Chun or Yun.

Further proof that most GG players know hardly anything about 3S but love breathing that hot air about it for no reason. Not that further proof was even needed though. Are there any Japanese tier lists aside from N-Otoko's that have Slayer in the top tier? IIRC the May issue of TD mag had him in A. I'll just post the whole thing because I haven't seen it in this thread, the source wasn't very reputable so I hope somebody can confirm its legitimacy. I agree to an extent, Urien and Ryu and even in terms of mathups, and both are right below yang and dudley. All of those characters can compete... just Don't play Urien against the twins:8/:

Ryu and Yang aren't bad at all. If Ryu and Yang suck, then Urien sucks too because he's lower that Yang and even with Ryu (as stated above). Nobody in 3S has it as easy as Yun and Chun, NOBODY. You just don't see Ryu and Yang much, because there's better versions of each character thatn are easier to learn and play.

I have no idea why, and I don't think I'll ever understand. You could argue that Jam's FB puffbunker is , but that's just a losing fight when you look at DoT FRC combos. Baiken is just beyond me, I'm still trying to think about that one... Baiken is no joke though, if you don't know that matchup it's frustrating as hell.
