Does GIMP have layer blending modes? I don't even know.

The trick is to change the opacity on the FX layer of every frame. Also, using black works better than white. And if you have an Interpolation/Screen Effect, use that for the layer.

Gah, I can't find the sprites for Jin's Ice Car in his effects folder.

Or is it a mix of different effects?

Ah right, there was nothing in the folder. Damn, I really wanted those cinematics.

Nope. Haven't seen them yet.

If I get some free time I should just tear back through every file I've got to look for stuff I missed or couldn't rip before.

Stuff I know I'm missing:

  • a couple 32-bit effect sprites (Hakumen and Rachel are missing a few, I think)
  • some 3D effect textures (I've got maybe half the cast ripped)
  • chibi heads
  • art gallery (these won't be rippable for a while - if anyone has a SOURCE IMAGE, like the original in-game image, like the same file they would've used and converted for the game, please let me know. It's extremely unlikely but if we can get the source file and know the format, we can get them ripped in no time.)
  • hitsparks and damage effects (I have a few, but it seems most of the generic hits are missing, need to double-check and make sure they aren't just color swaps)
  • sound/music (do we need this?)

ffmpeg + OGG == music

I can toss up a compressed folder of the BGMs in 320kbps MP3 format (for those who don't want to deal with converting).

I can also toss up CS soundpacks, but there'll be lots of files and no sorting (unless I can find a pattern to the naming scheme relating to SF versus voice clips).

Yess~ If this is the one where Hakumen's counter crest and ink graphics when doing a special move, then please yes. :yaaay:

This too, since I've always wanted Hakumen's voice as an opening for a theme. :vbang::HA:

EDIT: Come to think of it, I found the chibi heads while floating around the net. Are they any different on CS though? I believe I found the CT ones. <___<

All I want is the "best iteration" sound clip of Haku-men's oath. That's all I'll ever need. :) (Best JP/Best US versions anyway).

CS arcade arrowpointers are non-chibi.

I'll start uploading now.

Forewarning: All the /VOICE/ folders have arcade story speeches it seems, plus ending.

From my brief look, its standard voice, unique voice, arcade points, ending (you get to get Hazama's pre+post-speech with every pack, as some have unique tweaks).

Sound Effects have [character shorthand]+SE, obviously.

The MP3 pack is ~350MB, the voice+sound effects average 20MB. I'll post a seperate post with the links.

Hakumen's counter is a 3D effect, but it's not included in his 3D textures pack.

Same with Nu/Lambda's various fields. I still don't know why this is the case.
