Amadeus46Art Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I really like it so far, my only suggestions are to maybe remove Sol's foot so anything behind Ragna just isn't there, because right now it looks like some bulb is coming out of Ragna's knee. It'd also help to maybe make the colors between the two a bit different. Maybe make Sol lighter/oranger to go with the whole FIRE thing, and keep Ragna a real dark red.

I also have this idea for the logo that appears when one goes straight to http://www.dustloop.com/. Have Koogy's V3 logo or anything similar, and if you mouse over Sol, "Guides" will come up, and if you mouse of Ragna, "Forums" will come up. Also, if anyone were to remake the banner at the top of the forum, that would be pretty cool too (I might even use it for a sig if the size is good enough for the other forums I go to.)

But in actuality, I think having even two characters on the logo and keeping it silhouetty looks dumb. Either keep it simple or don't. I liked the one with just Sol better from an aesthetic perspective, because it's a fucking LOGO, a simple thing that can be a shorthand representation for our site, not a "DECLARATION OF EVERYTHING WE ARE AND EVERYTHING WE STAND FOR WHICH MUST BE ALL INCLUSIVE!"

If you're at the site, you KNOW the name of it. Not only that, but if you're new to the fighting game scene, you can just google "dustloop" and find out more information. I'm not trying to bitch out and not re-do the logo, just some constructive points to create a simple, clean logo.
