Stan McJeeves Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 tauntloop is fun Eh, I always hated it. I prefer stuff like 1-2 taunt loops with 22C, or just ditch the tauntloop and use cat2 loop instead.
Darlos9D Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Yo dudes. I've recently heard that the writers/developers of BB actually said that Tao (and all the Kakas) are wearing masks. TVTropes seems to support this but gives no actual citation. Is this for real or is it just a fan theory? Obviously this has no bearing on gameplay, but I was just curious. I'm kind of a semi-secret Tao fan even if I don't actually play as her (though I might in CS2).

Not sure if BB Wiki is a trustworthy place to cite from, but I can't find anything relating to them wearing a mask; When co-creator Daisuke Ishiwari was questioned about Taokaka's true appearance in an interview, he responded that he wanted to leave it to the players' imaginations. However, he does confirm that her shadowed visage is not her true face. Though they prod at us in the Teach Me Litchi Sensei where Rachel asks if it's a mask, I think it's just their way of making fun of us and getting us to think. I'm pretty convinced under that hood is a cat face much like Jubei's, but whether it's a mask or just the hood that keeps it black.... that's all just speculation.
