I practiced too much and studied the matchup till very late on the day before and got sick..., I was in bed till around 3 PM... I slept around like 6 ish..... I was vomitting stuff coz of my sinus allergies, my right hand was half numb, and my asthma was triggered thankfully I brought my inhaler with me lul a lot of wrong input when I was fighting dacidbro....caused by that oh well, at least I learned.... and I had fun meeting all those people, they are all great guys.

You still did well though, good enough to be proud. :D Haha, while I was watching the tourny I was just looking at it like 'doh..... since this is basically my first 2d fighter, and it just came out, I had no idea how you guys were doing that stuff. I'm learning though. :D

Add Color Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Yeah I'm the same way now, I was a semi-pro Gears of War player before the sequel, and just played casually after the sequel came out since I didn't like it. Play a lot of rpgs, etc. Trying to get into fighting games now though, and I have to say, learning these combos is a rough ordeal for me, my fingers just don't seem to do them right. xD Getting a stick soon though, so hopefully that will help.

I didn't study how you play. that's partially my fault too. but on the first game it was execution problem that got me when I was fighting dacidbro, that's why I went practicing to the console version cab side lol... also stop doing 5C>6C so much, I know you cancel it to DP a lot but if the IB the 6C then you are screwed either way.... also it will get baited eventually.... also be more patient I Know this applies to me too, T_T... and when u were fighting goryus it looks a bit like pozer vs goryus last year... u died off that wake up super too, T_T...dejavu indeed. always bait for wakeup DP or wakeup super, almost every character has it...even when you gain the momentum.
