He was recently concerned about having too many tournaments a month, but after telling him we're only having tournaments twice a month, he was okay with that. Anything more, I don't know.

Worst case scenario is that we just play normally, which is what I was planning on doing at the beginning anyway. Also, I've been thinking over what Dacid said, if event mode doesn't work out. How about if someone beats me 2/3, they win their money, then An auto-rematch happens, where we play again until I win 2/3. That MIGHT mean that some people would be waiting really long for their turn, but it makes the most sense to me. What do you guys think?

Dacidbro Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I think "until you win" is kind of crazy, as if some unnamed Bang player that picks blue shows up and trolls one of your character's worst matchups all day, that money might not see anyone else's hands (Or any other character doing the same thing, preventing shared experience for everyone and variety for you) I stick by my original concept of win once, auto rematch, another win is off the machine with throwing the last match.

The main issue I have with your proposal is that I've won many matches (and lots many matches) when I had less than 10-5% life. So saying "throw the match once you get to % life" is a problem, because that doesn't mean that they were going to win. I'm trying to do the best with the resources at my disposal, so please just bear with me.

I've been trying to throw together some flyers to spread around for the event, but it seems that have zero artistic talent also means I can't make a flyer that's even remotely decent *sigh*. RinHara5aki has been working hard on a promo video, that will hopefully be out soon and it is freakin' awesome! As far as the losing aspect of this goes, the best I've managed to come up with is do a 2/3 -> I lose -> Winner gets paid -> auto re-match 2/3 -> I lose -> winner gets paid and goes to the back of line. Well, hopefully there will be a line... Get hype! Also, I'm curious as to what everyone is planning on doing with the millyuns of dollahs they will be winning. /bump

Skye Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 You forgot to deck it out with diamonds and bitches, maybe put a B&W next it, sparkle up Dabbit's name, add in a picture of him with sunglasses, a jersey with his last name on the back with the "01" on it, and make sure the back of the flyer is spray painted gold.
