KatanaDash Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Your list is woefully incomplete... I know of at least 5 other people on dl who are going, not counting me :-D

Onlysol Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Hi. I wish I knew why DL decided to stop notifying me when people posted in this thread, quite a bother! With Fanime right around the corner this is the last call for questions! If you've been holding out on me now is the time to let me know what topics you want to hear covered at the panels! EDIT: By the way, OnlySol, i had a question. You're IN Shin-Yoko right? Itsn't there another Fanime there? And if so, is the Dynamic Duo going to be there as well? I live a couple of minutes from Shin-yokohama at the moment, yes, but sadly there is no Fanime anywhere other than San Jose
RinHara5aki Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Hi. I wish I knew why DL decided to stop notifying me when people posted in this thread, quite a bother! With Fanime right around the corner this is the last call for questions! If you've been holding out on me now is the time to let me know what topics you want to hear covered at the panels! I live a couple of minutes from Shin-yokohama at the moment, yes, but sadly there is no Fanime anywhere other than San Jose First, I've got to ask, is there a DL community in Japan? I mean, if anything, you're smack dab right in the middle of game heaven it seems. If I remember correctly Akihabara is pretty close by isn't it? Where are the CS machine's in Tokyo? Second, do you still know exactly when the Daisuke/Mori panels are going to happen? Is it still set for the 28/29th? Any specific times in the day yet? And third, is it possible to post peoples names in the first post, so we can kinda see the layout of how many people are going, and who is going specifically. ありがとう。 (`・ω・´)
SethDahlios Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Lets add a few more in.... A) Rumors are abounding about a re-balance of Continuum Shift for the Console, this true? B) When designing Continuum shift and changing things around (like the redesign of Guard Libris) what was your top priorities? C) When it comes down to designing characters, who was the most fun character to pull together and program into the game? For either series.
Honnou Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Alright guys, Fanime is closing in fast. 60 DOLLAR REG ENDS MAY 15TH. THEN ITS A WHOPPIN 100 DOLLARS I BELIEVE. REG NOW.' Is there still no information about when Ishiwatari and Mori's panels/chances to meet them are going to be? I still am definitely gonna go but am SUPER confused about whether I want to pay $60 for one weekend or $35 ish for one day.
STenSatsu Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 In the past, scheduling is usually handed out on fridays. Not sure if they've gotten better about that. Could check around on their forums.
Chun Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 When designing Continuum shift and changing things around (like the redesign of Guard Libra) what were your top priorities? I am going to ask why Litchi had to get so good. There must be ulterior motives . I will also request her to be nerfed. Schedules for fanime are usually released one week in advanced. Since the guest is confirmed, now's a good time as any to early register. If you choose to pick up at-con, you'll be waiting in a 3 hour weekend pass/single day general buying line, unless you get there at the crack of dawn where pre-reg opens. Highly recommend registering now if you're planning on going to avoid the horrible line traffic every year. ~Chun
Jam-Kiske Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I paid for everything so I'm going for sure now. Kind of annoying to not have finalized schedules cuz I was going to base whether or not I'd bring cosplays other than Mu or not on that...
Onlysol Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 The schedule on the first page has been updated with the panel times. Other events are either undecided or not ready for the public just yet.
shezmu Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I swear I'm a gonna choke a bitch if somebody asks a story-related question again. >
Onlysol Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 I swear I'm a gonna choke a bitch if somebody asks a story-related question again. > Indeed. Generally speaking these are the sorts of questions that are likely just going to turn in to wastes of time and make a room full of rabid fans try to hate you to death. I would recommend avoiding the following questions: Questions about future games: If the game has not been announced before the Q&A section starts, the odds of anyone talking about it are slim-to-none. It would be great if we could announce our upcoming titles early without totally ruining our sales numbers down the road, but that's human psychology for you. Questions about story: Most story related questions are not going to get answered for a couple of very practical reasons. First, the question may actually not have an answer at all- that page of fictional history could very well be yet unwritten. Secondly, even if there is an answer, I'm certain the Dynamic Duo would prefer question be answered in the proper narrative context. I know it is maddening, but try to enjoy the mystery :3
TaoFTW Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I would like to say in advanced, "Thank you, Mr. Onlysol, for all your hindsight, foresight, and insight." If you were coming to the fanime-con, I'd buy you a cheeseburger. Be sure to relay my, deepest, gratitude to the dynamic duo and ASW.

This onlysol guy will be in California in late june, I am going to try and get him to come to a gathering at that time, so you may get your chance to buy him a cheese burger yet.

Kijiyama Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I swear I'm a gonna choke a bitch if somebody asks a story-related question again. > too bad not all BB players/GG players read this board so we'll probably have someone asking about it :/

Jam-Kiske Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 So I'm just now realizing how impossibly irritating it's going to be to take public transport from the airport tomorrow. Oh god why. D: But yeah: THIS WEEKEND. GET HYPE.
TaoFTW Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Well, I'm going to stop by the convention center tomorrow to pick up my badge n' such. I'll see you all over the weekend.
OrionXElite Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I was looking forward to going to this until I got deathly sick...This was gonna be a fun weekend but now I'm just gonna be staying home. If I feel better, I'll probably go to SVGL Saturday and Sunday night but I'm not holding my breath honestly.
RinHara5aki Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Aww 3: Better start downing dat chiken nudle sup and get yo ass down here! XD I have my day of work today, then prepping tonite. I'm not sure where I'm gonna go tommorow (Friday). I'll probably first head down to SVGL first, warm up, and wait for TaoFTW's room reservation to open up. Then I'll drop off my stuff, and hit the Con up. See where da people are at :3
Chun Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 BlazBlue @ Fanime has Sanwa parts on a Happ Sized Cab. Buttons are pretty responsive, if not floaty. Games are only 50c a play.
