Faust doesn't seem very combo-intensive and he is relatively easy compared to the rest of the cast. Every character has hard combos that basically need to be used at high level play though, so that is something you are going to have to overcome.

Remember the site to vote for the EX colours in AC? Is that site still up? If not did anyone save and archive it? I thought it was cool; something like posterity since it had caps of everyone's colours through each GG iteration.

I searched for a while but I couldn't find anything... In a training mode, you can set Dummy's slip recovery level. But what does slip recovery mean? I just set it to LV2 and I don't notice a difference :psyduck:

Chomite: How fast the computer shakes out of stagger. Most people can mash at lvl 2-3 if they know the combo's coming. Lvl max is probably humanly impossible.

Po, Edge// Thank you very much @_@/ So, I guess it's safe to set it to lv.3 and practice combos...

Is there a way to turn auto guard on in training mode? I mean auto guard where the cpu will get hit on the first attack but block if you don't combo. I've tried first, limited,

You can use record/replay option. Just record blocking and replay that when you want the dummy to block.

the combo meter isn't like tekken or anything. it'll tell you when you did a combo or not. when the beat goes turns black, that means that it wasn't really a combo and they could of air teched out.

every once and a while I see a copy of GG at one of the used game locations in the area that still carries ps1 games. It makes me think the game really wans't that rare, but then again I hear alot about it being rare so *shrug* it isn't silent bomber rare though, I'd pay some cahs to get that game

Will it ever WORK online? There's so much stuff with a small window of frames in this game that I wouldn't even care if there was online.

the return of justice, kliff, & story mode? oh who am i kidding . . . i'd buy it even if it were just AC + All that other stuff. you'd think there'd be an arcade release . . . but i wouldn't be surprised if this was Arc's "we're really sorry about all the bugs in the original console version of AC" combined with overture's overall very poor performance led to this

Hey overture's really not a bad game...it just has whacked out controls. Unless I'm missing something? The gameplay's good, does the online suck or what?

Is it possible for I-No to Stroke The Big Tree, FRC into a TK-UF?

I would think so, but I haven't been able to pull it off yet. Want to know if I'm wasting my time trying.

Also, can Dizzy IK boss I-No? I've tried but I suck with that ridiculous input and usually get hit long before I can finish it.

still need an ansswer

The I-no thing CAN happen since when anyone RC/FRC's they are at neutral allowing you to input whatever. But all that is gonna be hard to do.

You ever tried going into IK mode with anyone else against Boss I-no? I tried with Sol and I couldn't do it AT ALL.

At the beginning of the match you'll see a red X cover the tension guage. I guess that means IK's are locked.

I tried it with order-sol since you can do his overdrive without charging but either A) she isn't close enough to death or B) when she is close enough it manages to miss after the 5 hit or so. I was thinking since Dizzy's IK is hidden and there is no charge involved that it might be possible. Not that it really matters, I just want to kill Gold Boss I-No once.

Good luck actually getting Boss I-No to hold still long enough to not interrupt the DizzyKill. :(

Anyway,

Has anyone ever made something like this for Accent Core? It sure would be awesome.

I'm sure you could just meaty Dizzy's IK in front of I-No, after one of her Megalomanias and the CPU will randomly decide to get hit by it.

Anyway,

I was in the process of making one, but about a hundred screen caps in the thought of taking 300 some more screen caps then cropping, and stuff, the pictures; I was like screw it. People can take a few minutes to find the color they like and remember it.

Has anyone tried converting the Original Guilty Gear to PSP UMD format at all?

Just wondered if anyone tried to do this at all. I know you can convert PSone games to UMD, and the first GG prolly won't last forever (it is kinda rare so I hear).

Just a posterity question is all.

I'm certain you could convert the original GG to a popsloader format. (The PSOne emulation on custom firmware) The only problem would be the PSP's terrible d-pad. (that thing's a pain for me any time I try to play SLASH on there) Granted it wouldn't exactly be a UMD format, but one could make it into an executable that runs off the memory stick.

Also along those lines, GG is actually for sale in the japanese playstation store. (For download to both PS3 and PSP) For those of us NOT in japan however, I could maybe work some magic and conjure up a working PSP version. (If anyone's interested. ;) )

I know you say just a posterity question, but out of my own curiosity, why do you ask?

Hmm...that actually reminds me of another question I had. How does one get screencaps and record match videos, anyway? I'm assuming some sort of TV signal capture hardware, but what, exactly?

If it makes a difference, I have Accent Core for both PS2 and Wii, but I much much much much prefer it on Wii.

Kjorteo: You would pretty much get a TV input card or USB device for your computer. Then just use your choice in software to get the input going to your compy. (They pack in with ATI software usually, I know Teyah used to swear by showshifter, but I personally like DScaler myself) Pretty simple really, once you fork out the initial cash for the input device itself.
