orka Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 No? The challenger gets the stage. I do not know about the music. o so mebbe it's challenger gets the stage and winner the music then. i gotta watch team match vids to check.
HmR.kS Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Isn't it? Because I always challenge at arcades and I always get my stage. :o I keep losing thats why i know! lol
Incendia Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I know its loser/new challenger's stage, but not abt BGM.
HmR.kS Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I've never really taken notice of the BGM... Perhaps it's too soft compared to the voices and arcade noises X( I got a question too: In a 3v3 tag tournament, how do the teams place their players? Like, who SHOULD go first, and/or who should be the last player on their team? So, how do they decide?
Incendia Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Ehhs, i think its their own choice, then winner stay while loser is eliminated.
HmR.kS Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I know it's their own choices. But I'm sure there's some plannings behind those decisions and not just randomly who's first and who's last and who's the middle.
stinkymonz Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Er, I think that's called "team strategy". I think you usually put like the best player on the team as last for the anchor, although not everyone practices this. You could go for best player as the first to go for like a... um... what's the proper term? Basically it's like you jump head-first and hopefully you obliterate everyone; and if you do die, you leave behind easy pickings for your other teammates.
HmR.kS Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Yeah that's what I thought too. But I'm looking for more detailed reasonings etc. :D I'm just curious. Hahaha
stinkymonz Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Well, then the answer is wholly subjective to the team itself, and what strategy they want to take.
mastamedi Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 When ever i play, it is the challenger that gets both stage and music however when the challenger first appears for the fight it is his stage and player ones music... quite odd... thats how i have noticed it anyway...
mastamedi Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I guess formation of a team is all built upon strategy… for example some people may thinking hitting them with all power from the start is the best option others may believe it is best for last, however I think the best way is to decided which character is the best match up for who ever they are fighting against, with this said I don’t actually know if you decided before or after the fight on who is who…
4r5 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I think it's CvS2 style. Team order is picked before the matchs. Battle starts on the charecter select screen.
Venom Scrub Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Couple questions regarding preparing my PS2 for Slash. I've decided to go with a Swap Magic but I'm not sure exactly which one to order. Could someone link me to one? Second, how are the instructions that come with it? If they're crap would someone be able to like, kind of help walk me through it via AIM or whatever? Thanks.
hatorri hanzo Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 The instructions for it are crap. The website where u order it from should have detailed instructions. And Kairi said he would help me through it, so ask him. i got mine from modchipstore .com
mastamedi Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 who would you personally say is the least best character in guilty gear?? i just cant figure it out i mean they are all amazing, the game is almost perfectly designed equally...???
stinkymonz Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 What do you mean by 'least best'? Like most unenjoyable to learn, or something? Or most useless character to learn?
Kairi Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 The instructions for it are crap. The website where u order it from should have detailed instructions. And Kairi said he would help me through it, so ask him. i got mine from modchipstore .com where you able to get yours working hatorri? ....and -vs- when you get yours hit me up on aim and I'll guide you through it. I got a question too: In a 3v3 tag tournament, how do the teams place their players? Like, who SHOULD go first, and/or who should be the last player on their team? So, how do they decide? afaik they use some sort of system and differnt names are assigned to each player...like the first guy is the pawn it could continue like that up to king...but I can't really rember to well.
Tritone Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 who would you personally say is the least best character in guilty gear?? i just cant figure it out i mean they are all amazing, the game is almost perfectly designed equally...??? May is the worst. Edit: Yeah in case anyone else besides Stinkymonz thought I was being serious: I wasn't.
burningvigor Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Hell no! The game is not designed equally. This game has plenty of gay matches.
stinkymonz Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Not really. The same way how I-No churns out a lot of damage if you learn her well, May does tonnes of damage. But I suppose unlike I-No, May doesn't exactly have a strong high-low game nor good zoning tools. :P
Tritone Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Stinkymonz: ever heard the phrase "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer"? What I said was a joke. Also May can zone.
Venom Scrub Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 http://www.nerditup.com/product_info.php?products_id=31&osCsid=794a1f7df27dbaf7ed80c052e9b30e67 http://www.nerditup.com/product_info.php?products_id=30 So these are the two things I'll need right? ....and -vs- when you get yours hit me up on aim and I'll guide you through it. Awesome, thanks.
mastamedi Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I meant most unless to learn and use in a fight... I think each character has its advantage against certain other character yet sometimes can be completely crap against a certain match up but overall I was just wondering which one is clearly at the bottom...
Kairi Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 http://www.nerditup.com/product_info.php?products_id=31&osCsid=794a1f7df27dbaf7ed80c052e9b30e67 http://www.nerditup.com/product_info.php?products_id=30 So these are the two things I'll need right? yup I meant most unless to learn and use in a fight... I think each character has its advantage against certain other character yet sometimes can be completely crap against a certain match up but overall I was just wondering which one is clearly at the bottom... well in reload at least...everyone has something...but if you to are call someone the worst character in terms of tiers, it would have to be chipp his damage mod is just too big.
