KD Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 2 quick ac+ questions: what does soul of zepp do? i got it from gold potemkin in survival mode but didn't notice any effects. how the hell do you get i-no's 2nd story path? I-No Path 2 1. Sol 2. Axl 3 Millia When you get to Millia take longer than 40(?) seconds to beat her. Best bet is to finish the match while the clock is in the fifties. If done correctly you should fight... 4. Eddie 5. Ky 6. Potemkin 7. Faust (NOTE: Depending on if you have been playing the other character's stories this step might be a real pain in the ass. I've narrowed it down to one of the four paths: Anji 1, Anji 2, Baiken 1, or Baiken 2. Whichever one of these paths is the right one will cause a command prompt to come up. If you don't have the right path you won't get the command prompt and I-No will head over to fight Testament and you will be locked in Path 1 again. I truly believe that it might be Baiken's path 2.) Select the first option to head over to Baiken at Babylon. This is the final fight. So yeah I-No is one of the characters that actually needs someone's else story path to complete one of her own. This explains why back when the game came out I had four different ways to get her path 1 ending. As for Soul of Zepp I have no clue what it does, but I thought Blade had made a small mini faq for Survival Mode items and stats in the general Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus thread.
bucklemyshoe Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Thanks, I never would have figured out the 40 second thing with Millia. If anyone else is having trouble, it's Baiken 2nd Path that unlocks I-No's 2nd. (pick the 2nd choice at the prompt for baiken's 2nd path and pick the first choice for I-No's 2nd path at her promt)
Xeron633 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 i was wondering how can i play accent core plus online i have my usb but xlink kai doesnt have accent core plus so any other way that i could play accent core
srdjan Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Is the HRAP3 stick good for GGXX ? I`m going to finally buy a stick, and i don`t know which one, since i have 0 experience with sticks. Any advice?
kosmos badgirl Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Someone knows if this interview is from the last GG artbook?. https://webspace.utexas.edu/chengmh1/Ishiwatari_Daisuke_Interview_English.html
4r5 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 That interview is hella old. (5-ish years?) which GG artbook was the last?
kosmos badgirl Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 That interview is hella old. (5-ish years?) which GG artbook was the last? I know that is old, the last artbook was this: The interview is about art, I guess is from one of the artbooks, but is only a guess.
rtl42 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 it might've been from the one before the 2000-2007 one, but i'm not 100% sure.

HolyOrderChipp Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 So, I have a widescreen TV. When I've played GG on it, it's been stretched compared to on a regular TV. Is there a way to get Accent Core not to stretch on a widescreen TV? (PS2, not Wii, of course.)
Nuclear Cheese Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 So, I have a widescreen TV. When I've played GG on it, it's been stretched compared to on a regular TV. Is there a way to get Accent Core not to stretch on a widescreen TV? (PS2, not Wii, of course.) Generally this'll be a setting somewhere in your TV's menu. Mine has it under "Picture". It'll say "Aspect Ratio" or something similar. The option you want will say "4:3" or something about standard (not widescreen) TV.
the8anarchist Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 i want to ask this: is there any necessary cables needed for progressive scan for AC? when me and my bro try to use PS it always takes use back to the same menu. are we missing anything? i mean we are using an HDTV.
Hecatom Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 you need the component cables for the ps2, for example i use this cables http://www.nextag.com/Monster-Cable-8-Component-643817545/prices-html?nxtg=62bd0a280520-2C4E17BA81E8B25A
ansem Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Why wasn't sheep will sleep in the accent core soundtrack?
Kjorteo Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Because that's not a standard Guilty Gear song. It's just Isuka.
Prototype Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 This: Source: http://www.guiltygear.ru/releases.php?lang=en§=books Does this artbook have the art that was in Accent Core + ? I have read on other sites that it has the artwork up to Accent Core, but I am not sure of the rest.
redman89 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Is there a story mode path guide for Accent core plus or do I follow the same guide as GGXX?
Kjorteo Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Without having actually played it, I'm going to guess that GGXX story mode guides are useless because this is an entirely new storyline. (I'd be highly interested in what any alleged GGXX story mode guide has to say about A.B.A.'s story mode...and even the original characters still get all-new stories, too.) Whether a specific GGXXAC+ story mode guide is out is a different question, and one about which I have absolutely no idea. I haven't exactly gone looking, because I'm not quite fanatic enough to import and wade through a Japanese story (I'm waiting for the US version on Wii, which is almost-but-not-quite out yet) and therefore haven't played it yet and therefore haven't felt the need to search for a guide.
Blade Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Getting an all new story mode doesn't completely overwrite the previous story. A lot of what happened in GGXX references stuff that occurred in GGX+. What's more, the whole GGX-GGXX saga takes place over the span of three weeks, to put things in perspective here.
Kjorteo Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Yes, but if I'm understanding the question correctly, he was asking about story mode paths, not a general storyline information guide. Things like "if you instant kill Slayer in this fight you get ending #2, but defeat him normally for ending #3." I would be completely stunned if that still applied in AC+.
Blade Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Instant Kills still exist for prerequisites to endings, and certain endings require other endings to happen before hand. But in the end most characters only have 2 endings (good and bad) this time around...exceptions being Order-Sol, Kliff, and Justice. Honestly I think the hardest ending to get is Sol's Ending 1 this time around, since you have to play through without losing against Gold Boss I-no... http://dustloop.com/forums/showpost.php?p=357508&postcount=35 Edit, I take that back, I-no's is kinda hard too...
shinquickman Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Honestly I think the hardest ending to get is Sol's Ending 1 this time around, since you have to play through without losing against Gold Boss I-no... At least you have infinite super, so you can just 'Tyrant!' RC 'Tyrant!' RC 'Tyrant!' etc. Anji's story is just mind-numbing. Your second fight is Gold Boss I-no, you're jump sealed, and you take damage before the fight starts? ::sigh::
