Setsuna Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I didnt know where to look this up, but i was browsing through the options on my Continuum Shift and i saw i could change it to a 1.01 ? Does that hold any significance at all, should i worry about it ? Im just looking for a quick answer, Mods can lock this the second its been said n.n;

Almadiel Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Well I guess arcade mode is locked to 1.00, after all the arcade version doesnt get patches. Score attack should allow 1.01 though since it will include Makoto according to Aksys, same with versus and training etc.

Durka Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Another source: http://blazblue.jp/info/BB15CS_Information_100726.pdf Looks like there will not be character balance on 1.01 and the Xbox 360 version will not get a 1.01 patch at all. Maybe the xbox version is already DLC compatible and 1.01 only have PS3 specific fixes? I could be wrong because I'm using a translator.
sesame Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 X box get the patch, they just have to MANUALLY download it from Xbox live, that's all. getting it yourself =/= don't have it. that's the 3rd time that "DO NOT HAVE PATCH FOR XBOX" has been mentioned.......:/ (though no offense to anyone, but ....... yea, you can say it's unsure' but please, please don't say things when you are not sure if it's 100% correct..... because ppl read, believe, and rage.) and unfortunately i cant DL that file atm. but i'm 99% sure they do have patch, just have to DL it themselves.

N00b questions are welcome...just not too noob? hahah US comes with 1.01 for both consoles, right? it's JP one that needs downloading and that PDF only applies for JP(xbox/PS3 version). but doubt anyone have the JP ver. X-box version here though.... and Xbox JP patch is also Aug.5th.

If this is not the appropriate spot or this question, I apologize and ask that you please link me if possible. The Patch is apparently for Makoto in the Character select screen, and the Patches make it so if no one has a DLC Character or wishe sto face them in their rooms while playing online, they can downgrade and make it so. But how will this work if Valk and Trinity AND the Balance is kicked in? Sorry, its just a bit confusing for me is all.
AdamNW Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I can't remember exactly what it was, but I would imagine two scenarios would work: A) 1.01 makes all DLC playable. Said patch will give all three characters spots on the select screen and all three will be possible opponents in ranked matches. B) Patch 1.01 for Makoto. 1.02 for Valkenhyn, and 1.03 for Platina. Each one will rebalance the cast to match the last 'new' character (1.02 fixes Mu and Makoto, 1.03 fixes Valkenhyn, etc.). A is more likely.
Almadiel Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 1.01 only adds Makoto, she is the only one in the select screen and the D-Card. Probably the other two are not finished yet. And the US version did not come with the patch, it is downloaded automatically when you first run the game.

I was wondering about that as well. The first time I cleared Score Attack I had 1.01 installed already. Even though I uploaded the score, it does not appear in the rankings. Neither does any of my friends, for that matter...
