Bleh, don't know if this goes here but...

Does anyone have the link to the interview where Mori and Ishiwatari basically denied Jin's... gayness?

Was it ever in an interview? I thought someone asked him at...Fanime, I think, or AnimeExpo cannot remember which...and he just said no, Jin isn't gay.

Tsubaki mentioning him being distant could be the classic "thousand yard stare" that war veterans have had since before print.

Or it could just be Jin being Jin... and I'm sure messing with his memories about that time doesn't really help either.

One of Valk's quotes in game mentions Rachel's father. It seems he is still alive the way he's talking. Something along the line of "Now how can I face my Lord now?"

I dunno. That still sounds like you could interpret him being in the afterlife. Bang talks about his dead master in the present tense without saying he's dead all the time.

The more I hear about Phase 0 the more I wonder about Ragna's true condition:

If his Red Eye and Black Arm are both connected somehow as part of the Azure Grimoire (or at least the Ars Armagus or Nox Nyctores equivalent), then that means it has nothing to do with him being bitten by Rachel as a vampire...meaning he may not necessarily BE a vampire. Also the white hair thing could have been the trauma he got from being grafted to the Grimoire.

What's more...now that his left arm is artificial as well, I don't know if it's biological tissue from Lambda's cells, or if it's cybertechnology. His Right arm now holds both the Grimoire AND the Idea Engine, which make it sort of like an upgraded Soul Vacuum Cleaner that can go in reverse and "inject" souls.

Also, when did he get his Life Link with Nu? Does it still exist (assuming she was salvadged at the end and still alive maybe)...

Are he, Jin, and Saya all Prime Fields or Boundary Contact Mediums?

... I'm fairly certain that a few expects in the field have stated that Rachel only bit Ragna once in an earlier or perhaps the first loop and that this was actually explicitedly stated in the MC.

Life link with Nu probably stays so long as Nu is a murakumo unit. I think it may be the reason why Nu's body reconstructed itself in the first place.

Stuff from "The Wheel of Fortune" like how Saya is a "vessel/container" should probably come up in future games, even though it'd just piss Ragna off it'd probably be a relief for him to know that Saya ain't the Imperator, the Imperator is just currently inhabiting Saya's body.

Ragna's hair is white only ten days after he got the AG, so I lean to it being less natural trauma (where your hair falls out first and then grows back white) and some contamination from the AG.

It's not mentioned when the lifelink with Nu was formed. I assumed it's because of their Azure Grimoires, so that when Nu received her half it began, but who knows.

Prime fields and boundary contact mediums are the same thing, just different translations--the former is CS, the latter is CT. As for that, no it's not known either. Ragna at least is an artificial human, and assuming they have similar origins it would make Jin and Saya manmade as well. But even so, we don't know what they were created for--to be prime fields? Or were they the products of the beast gene project mentioned in the MC? Maybe they're both. Idek.

And from this we can pretty much tell that Saya's consciousness resides within Noel, thus the reason for Noel's past reactions towards Ragna dropping in the Cauldron with Nu, and also the reason why the Imperator stated that Noel's existence is a nuisance.

Just speculation on my part feel free to correct me ^-^

*All this life link talk, and references to Shrodinger's cat confuses me (despite I know the theory behind it) @_@

Ragna's left arm is made from Lambda's regeneration tank. Kokonoe said it in the true ending.

But I thought he didn't have the Idea Engine anymore? Wasn't it destroyed with his real arm when he brought Noel back?

I'm pretty sure I mentioned somewhere before that Ragna is not a vampire/half vamp, at least in this timeline. Rachel bit him in the first, and all subsequent timelines he just used the black beast's remains. It's all in the mc.

Ragna doesn't have the Idea Engine. It was in his left arm until he decided to blow it up to save noel.

The life link thing is a bit tricky, because in order to create one you apparently need the azure, and you need to make eye contact. Nu's half of the (fake) azure was probably inserted into her during her short story. Since terumi needs noel to look at him to create a life-link, it's probably when ragna looked at nu for the first time. (Incidentally I don't recall a life link between ragna and nu. Can someone point out the relevant part of the story?)

I'm pretty sure that I remember Terumi alluding to the lifelink between Ragna and Nu when he was telling Ragna about the lifelink between himself and Mu. It wasn't a direct statement, but when describing what the link entails, he said it was similar to what Ragna had with Nu.

I got a question, was the Ragna that Rachel bit "Bloodedge" Ragna? I know she only bit him once so I'm just curious if that's the one who it was.

What I found more interesting in terms of what the drama CD's revealed was the excerpt flashback between Jin and Saya, they got along much better then what we'd been led to believe (I always kind of suspected though) which would explain Jin's acceptance as Tsubaki's 'brother' and Noel's own apprehension alongside her semi-attachment too Jin (not as big as between her and Ragna but it is present) It makes me wonder as to the exact details of the Church Incident and what Saya/Terumi may or may not have done to him at that time, especially in regards to Yukianesa given that Saya was apparently the one to give it too him. And for the record I'm speculating she gave it to him at the same time as the church incident rather then from behind the scenes as the Imperator, which would add to the overall complex Jin has in regards too her.

And in terms of what Jin/Hakumen may or may not feel for Tsubaki, he's not the romantic type, I think we can all agree on that. Given his disposition I rather think he wouldn't recognize his feelings even if he was in love, and overall I share the assessment that Hakumen's feelings in regards to Tsubaki stem from more then simple guilt, but also in admiration and reverence, holding her up as his role-model in life, which shows in quite a few similarities in regards to their personalities. Not quite love, still a bit too distant, but maybe something more along the lines of devotion. If given enough time and opportunity in the present timeline to resolve their issues then I can potentially see them connecting on that level eventually though.

Um, Ragna said that Jin has had Yukianesa in his possession for 10 years or so, the church incident happened 7 years prior to the events of the game. ... Yeah.

Wait, so Ragna never question why Jin was (presumably) keeping a massive katana made of ice under his bed (or something)?

He probably questioned it the same way Noel's parents questioned why she had Bolverk.

he probably didn't want to offend him, in case jin did something crazy and cut his ar- OH WAIT.

I like to think that Jin came home with it one day and Ragna just hung it up on a wall or stuffed it in the closet. He asked where Jin got it but Jin wouldn't say.

That, or the ten years thing is a biiiig typo.

Or Ragna was just exaggerating. So "ten years" simply means "a looooong time" instead of exactly ten years.

Considering the nature of the Nox, it's not out of thought that they can " deposit " them or something like that.

In Jin and Noel's intro you can see them summoning their Nox, so I guess they can store them in some pocket dimension ( green latern style get at me ) until they need it. I don't doubt Noel hiding them because y'know, she's noel or something like that.

That's probably the most likely thing, though I honestly doubt Jin (at the age he would have been) would have known how to "deposit" it. Unless, maybe, Saya taught him how or something, which is always a possibility.

thats true I can see Saya doing something like that, although, whose to say its not something that comes natural to the owner of the Nox?

Remember Bolverk popped out of nowhere for Noel when she was attacked in her childhood.

Being able to summon them at will should be easy for them, especially since they arent kids anymore.

I haven't actually been able to play Continuum Shift yet so I don't fully know about the story mode (curse being an English Xbox player :I), didn't know about that. Makes sense, though.

Ragna says OVER ten years though ("You've had that sword for over ten years" or something like that), at least in the English version. :S
