I thought Kokujin Ougi/Empty Sky Void was an ability of the Susanoo unit that Jin is attached to.How is he able to use it without the Susanoo Unit?

I think it's tied to the power of order.... or something, maybe they just retconned it *shrug*

either way it's cool.

Hmm I've been wondering this every now and then, why does Valkenhayn watch over Rachel? Iirc there was a time in CT when I remember him talking to himself about how she's grown or something but if anyone wants to make it a bit more clear to me then I would appreciate that.

It's probably the power of order, since both are able to use it. But Jin's own is a lesser version of Hakumen's implying the power gap between them.

Kokuujin/Empty Sky Form is the name of Haku-men's swordsmanship if I remember correctly.

It's most likely the name of a sword fighting style developed by the NOL or the Kisaragi family. The Kokuu (Void Space) in Kokuujin (Void Space Form) is the same as the Kokuu used in the NOL's Japanese name, Sekai Kokuu Jouhou Tousei Kikou (New World Void Space Cue Administration Bureau).

Also, due to the paradoxical nature of BlazBlue, I'm going to go ahead and guess that it was based on observations of Hakumen's fighting style during the Dark War. Maybe by the Kisaragi that was a member of the original Duodecim.

Valkenhayn was a butler for Clavis, Rahel's father, and now serves her after Clavis passed away. I remember hearing somewhere that he served Clavis out of guilt of some crime he committed before, but I need to remember where I read that from to double check.

I just saw Makoto, Valk, and Mu's arcade mode.

Makoto's is really interesting, so she is similar to Taokaka - the entire beastmen race is created to combat Black Beast, which is why Terumi calls her a doll, just like Noel. She knows that Noel was artificially made in Ikaruga. It seems that the reason she's so protective to Noel is because she finds that they are similar. She hates people trifling with life in Ikaruga but it's not clear whether she hates NOL in Ikaruga, or all scientists in Ikaruga (which may include Ikaruga and sector seven). And she falsified an order for Tsubaki to go back to HQ, but Tsubaki notices that that's fake.

Now that I have seen her arcade, her joining Sector seven might have ulterior motive. After all, Hazama does praise her information gathering ability non stop, so I won't be surprised if she's actually infiltrating, instead of joining Sector Seven, possibly for her own gain.

Valk's is not interesting. Nothing special but his overly zealous loyalty to Rachel. He is similar to yet worse than Tager in blindly following orders.

Mu's is interesting. She shows surprising amount of hatred towards power of order. I remember Zephyr speculated that Jin hates Noel because she's not supposed to exist and being representative of order, he instinctively treats her like a disease. Mu's arcade seems to support this - so the hatred is mutual.

Similar to Hazama, Jin calls her and her likes, dolls (though he does sound a bit disappointed at Noel behaving like a doll like the rest of the clones). Hazama says that Jin is still useful, so let him alive (here's to me wishing that Jin will go back to NOL in the next game). While he wants Hakumen sealed like Rachel. Mu and Hakumen encounter is not interesting. Haku gives her a question and she answers psychotically, so he decides that she's not savable.

So with the release of CSII on the PSP and 3DS, is there any new story info? I heard that there were a few new story chapters or something.

Posted
There's only 2 extra stories showing how Noel, Tsubaki, and Makoto first meet and Kokonoe's past with Relius.

I hate to ask for spoilers, but what basically happened in these stories? Are they parts of previous characters' stories, or do the DLC characters have stories of their own? I don't feel like paying for a 3DS atm, considering how expensive it is, which is why I ask.

They're just supplementary material. DLC characters have no story modes of their own. Think of the Arcade stories for those characters as additional possibilities of the Continuum Shift that weren't shown.

The screen is small, but it's the best I could find right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hSCAHdo3ZA

That's EX1, or the extra story about how Tsubaki, Noel, and Makoto first met. ...I would try to transcribe it, but the quality is too shoddy for me to read the text and I think it's pretty self-explanatory anyway. Though if someone with better grasp at the language can do it, I am totally all for it.

EDIT: Better quality video.

^^ Thanks! Can't wait for EX2. It seems that they ret-con Noel and Jin's first meeting. It's so odd to have Jin being so sweet to Noel or to anybody honestly.

Looks like Kokonoe learned the hard way about Nox Nyctores. In order to make Nirvana complete she had to sacrifice all of her previous subordinates it seems.

Relius is a dick.

I never knew the core for Arc Enemies aka Nox Nyctores was the black beast itself o_o

And Kokonoe using Nine's Power Infinite Gravity...just wow...

Now I feel like learning more about this :P

Why does Relius have Nirvana w/ him? Was this before Ada was incorporated? If it was afterwards, shouldn't she be w/ Carl? AFAIK, Carl did see the process Ada went through and cleaned her up right after.

Edit: I'm sorry if these questions are in the wrong topic. Should it be moved to "Storyline Questions", or is it fine here? I mainly asked here since it's technically on-topic, and I want to clear up my confusion.

I think it was before Ada was incorporated; I think, as far as I know, that perhaps Relius was still testing them out. After all, Nirvana still wasn't entirely complete before this, and this had been around the same time Tager was created -- probably a year before even Mu (and maybe Lambda) were created. At that time, Carl must have been really young.

That's what I think, anyway. :psyduck:
