Well to be fair, I don't think nearly as may people imported PBX, it's super niche [even in Japan] and is already coming off of a not so great reputation.

That being said, now that 1.02 is out, I'd love to try netplay again and see if it's actually improved significantly.

yeah seem alot of people were put off by vanilla.

so extrs starting to look real good with certain aspects. For starter utility is less expensive, while you able to build four stocks, what they really did just cut the cost of everything by half. Overheat while still disables your meter, doesn't reset it to zero. The over drive works juts like speed and g=hard style combined, depending on which style you ave in over drive, you can do fully charge 5sp and follow up or do slip shift combos.

Reflection is alot better than I thought. not only does it offset, wreaking or crushing guard gauge, stun or stagger opponent. But it also can beat low normals and cause offset with low dash normals.

Online delay make Kurisue beam tactic look stronger than it is. Also Kagamine I suspect your intentionally try to induce lag because you always play on the laggy stage which is Infinity sky stage.

I wasn't trying to induce lag or anything :( . I just picked infinity's stage cause its my favorite stage and soundtrack in the game.

its mines too but I learned to stay clear from it in netplay as it major lag inducer.

Also i'm trying Shizuka but i don't understand how to do the loop, the recover of the hayate is just huge i can't combo out of it :\. Is there a way to reduce the recovery or i'm missing something?

no shizuka and most other loops have been patched out. Only few few loops will work but usually the game will make the opponent be on hitable after certain amount of hits. Only character who has true infinite is kurisu with her 4 L+SP. Shit is retarded and should be ban if PBE see tournament life.

 

Also hata was specifically nerf with ver 1.02.

 

 

 

I still play PBE regular. Not sure how connection will be but I am K-Bas

Yes some one posted it on nico nico and mike and i performed it on mike recent PBE stream to show how retarded it is. Admittedly I never seen if could get higher than 8 to see if IPS kicks in but even if so it need to be ban as it kurisi gains a lot of meter, builds tension mode so damage scale doesn't get affected to harshly, and kills alot of time. On top of the fact kurisu is already close being top teir with her crazy  Strong game play. She actually strong keep away character. 

 

The reason this loop works is due to fact grabs.command grabs don't actually need opponent to be be neutral to chain or be on the ground. As long their  at a certain height. grabs will connect. but reason kurisi can chain her is that her is projectile base.

 

oh and don't get me starter how her 4 L+SP has zangief light SPD range ......player can stay out of range but this is kurisu gameplan in the first place.

That's a shame. Hayate loop was pretty stylish and the damage wasn't so high as far as I can tell.

 

Oh well, she's still pretty cool to play. I'll probably main her.

Shizuka is All about stylish . But Haytop need nerf not due t combo but because it was just abusable. It option select so many thing with out much risk.. While it player could NA to try counter it. shizuka user could blow up counter attempts. And damage out put are determine but tension so yeah going for hayato loop at low tension wasn't much but when at 60* or up than it did around 5k befor ISP kick in which could by pass with Overdrive. 

 

PBE is heavy a meter management game and while meter comes easily their also expended easily so those who can conserve on their meter and use it sparely wind up becoming strong as Super are very strong and emergency mode essential. 

 

If I may suggest. give shizuka and ex try as their very stylish and extra have good perk of being able to change to style and having 400% meter doesnt hurt. You may lose NA and phantom Breaker but shizuka covers defense by her self  Super being great GCreversal. Her phantom breaker....are pretty poor. Shizuka can combo pretty good by her self but having meter to slip shift or the ability to have overdrive multiple times increases her combo ability allot.
