ATGMantenbo Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Bang(me) vs Ragna I went for 2A>2A ... command throw, but Ragna mashed jabs and interrupted my command throw Next time I went for 2A>2A ... 2D , ragna mashes jabs and gets countered .. at that moment I was like "FUCK YEA" but I lost at the end :D
Nakkiel Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I'm not sure about the ragna part; his j.c always stuffs my 5A. I find crouching under his j.c better. Both work. 5A won't work from far out, you need to be IN dat Also against Ragna, if they're doing 6DD without a good delay for j.D, you can crouch under j.D. This forces them to leave an opening in between 6DD on IB since they don't want to whiff j.D. I don't know if it's enough to 5A but it's enough to DP.
ATGMantenbo Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 why you closed the cs changes thread LK? seriously I wanted to bitch more about the changes ... you're restricting everybody's right to post .. "Freedom Of Posting" bad mod
GreyFox86 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Lol, I guess he doesn't wanna see it clustered whining and crying about the changes and how CT Litchi is now better. Oh well I can't wait for the next Locketest.
Poizonous Flour Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Personally I'm happy with his decision. Actually, so am I... cheers!
Dator Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I went to training and worked on this set up. IB second hit of 6D you can dp out. If your crouching on the first 6D second 6D will whiff. Barrier on 6DD IB second hit of 6D and if ragna throws 5b afterwards you can 5a his 5b and get counter, if he dashes 2a in after your barrier ib second hit of 6D and you 2a he will win. 6d jump cancel you can simply 2a his jC. Really its a guessing game some ragnas will mix it up but most will probably throw 5b after 6DD Both work. 5A won't work from far out, you need to be IN dat Also against Ragna, if they're doing 6DD without a good delay for j.D, you can crouch under j.D. GreyFox86 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Back from the Offline "tourney". There was like 6 people there so we couldn't do anything about it. But on the plus side, I got to play against really good players and win. Arakune, Lambda, and Jan (Tager Main) Arakune is now super free and so is Lambda, but Jan showed me whats up. It's like his Tager read my mind. :O
Ryyudo Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Blah only 6 huh? =/ That's never fun. Come up to Colorado for our next big tournament. We pulled 18, missing quite a few, last tourney with a $200+ Bonus pot. We probably won't have a bonus pot for a while, since we pulled no out of staters for BB:CS (but got Kurasa for TvC and a few from cali for SSF4) but at least you have people to play in a tourny setting! Plus, Colorado is like the coolest state ever, mmhmm!
GreyFox86 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Lol, wanna help me pay for a plane ticket up there and find housing?
Ryyudo Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I can help the housing! Lol (And depending on the timing and situation, there may be a few available bucks thrown your way.)
ATGMantenbo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Lk open the CS2 changes thread .. I wanna talk(bitch) about loketests 2 and 3
GreyFox86 Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Got back from an Offline tourney. Got 3rd out of 7. Losing to my friend and brother who mained Noel and Rachel. I know I'm disgraced so much right now about that but they both are quiet skilled. Either way I beat everyone who got in my way and in style. All in all, I'm going to say that I love CS Litchi before the patch. <3

GreyFox86 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been on this past week. My great grandmother passed and went to her funeral. I'm back though and ready to play a bit offline tomorrow.
ATGMantenbo Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 My attempts at creating fancy combos: 5A AA CH > SJ j.B > JC j.B > 2D RC > DP .. DP doesn't connect .. the combo would be really fancy if that connected but hey at least I discovered a fancy cross-under assuming they normal air tech: 5A AA CH > SJ j.B > 2D RC > land then 6D to cross under and the second hit of 6D will hit and pick your combo from there hehe .. what do you guys think??
rei-Scarred Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 why does this happen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2aoamlMFEA#t=6m21s
Nakkiel Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Projectiles don't stop moving during superflash. Kokushi Musou is a projectile, so since Bang didn't tech he was in an OTGable state during All Green's superflash. Since characters can't move during superflash, he started getting hit without moving. At least I'm pretty sure that's the explanation but goddamn that looked stupid lol
ATGMantenbo Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 hmmm really neat stuff .. 13 orphans and all green at the same time .. that bang got fucked SG, you always ninja my posts lol
SwitchPlaya Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 hey i wanna ask a question about litchi's stick activation drive when you release the stick can you vary it to go upwards or downwards because im trying out combos but when i release it it just goes upwards
Urichinan Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) When you activate Daisharin/The Great Wheel (The Staff Distortion) while she is floating in the air and the Staff is still on her back hit different directions and hit the D button to make it go that way. So say you wanted it to go down, up, forward, backward, up, down then you would hit 2D8D6D4D8D2D while she is floating. Hope that helped. Edited November 24, 2010 by Urichinan

Nakkiel Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 There are only 2 travel paths for Litchi's drive, horizontal and vertical (more like a forward arc). Here's a quote from a post I made in the beginner's thread to help with a similar question. 5D set will make it travel vertically, while 2D set will make it travel horizontally. Moves that 2D set: 2D j.5D 4kote (421D staffless) Daisharin (final hit) 5D set: 5D 6D 4D 6kote (623D staffless) j.2D Tsubame Gaeshi (623D with staff) Remember that all the moves are WITH the staff, excluding kote.
ATGMantenbo Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) the direction at which the staff travels is determined when you place it: 5D placement = parabolic path 2D placement = horizontal path If the staff is already placed and you want to change its trajectory: 421D~D to make the staff move horizontally 623D~D to make the staff take a parabolic motion EDIT: and I got ninja'ed by sG once again lol Edited November 24, 2010 by ATGMantenbo
