cookie` Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 alright so I fixed my computer's sound. turns out realtek audio just will sometimes randomly not work oh and I couldn't find that in-n-out burger. unless I heard wrong I didn't find it at 121 & preston, ended up going to whataburger instead that night (@ronin)

Get used to dem matchups and you'll be scary. Ronin: help me get my BB footsies and shit back on track when I get back. Binh: sorry about my shitty lilica, I can do a LOT more impressive and flexible pressure and can have a much better defense, and I will when I get back. I think I've neglected AH3 after BBCS2 patch came out, but even before that I didn't grind enough. I'll grind to be better at pressure and hit confirms. Keep coming to meetups so I don't get lazy! Cookie: basically what I said to Binh. Thanks for outpacing me and making me realize I need to stop sucking at AH3. I'm going to not get fucked so hard in July, and I'll get used to fighting Angelia. Boombox, Aloha, Danni, Dances, and others: Meetups. COME TO THEM. pls I feel like I'm forgetting a few things I should say to other people but whatever, it's only a month. And honestly, I'm a little worried about the scene. We're losing more players to apathy/random shit than we're gaining, though I'm glad Woofx7 and others are joining. I also dont understand how turnouts for summer are less so far than fall/spring, but maybe most people just end college later/are all seniors and have to do a bunch of shit/something like that. Maybe a bit of vicious cycle of "few people came to recent meetups, i won't bother" got created for some. I dunno. I worry we'll go the way of the guilty gear scene, and I don't want that. Maybe when I get back the scene will be kicking more than ever before and I'll eat my words. cookie` Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 can you give me more information about this arcade area? what games will they have and are there actually like cabinets or are they console setups? i've never been to a-kon if it's anything like last year, it'll be all console setups. it's generally ps3/xbawks/wii setups but if there's a spare space or tv not being used you can sometimes ask the staff and they will let you borrow the space if you brought a setup and it requires you have a badge to get in, so no it's not free technically I am not rooming there also, just commuting back and forth to the con
