Just thought I'd stop by and say that, outside of something big happening on the way, I'll be at the ranbat tomorrow. Hopefully I'll actually put up a decent fight this time. Also, sorry for not checking in earlier, a lot of stuff's happened in the last two weeks. Good to hear from you man. See you tomorrow, hope to play some casuals.

A few of us would probably be willing to netplay you but we mostly play offline, since it is a lot more fun that way in terms of both matches(no lag, not even minor lag, matters a lot) and just hanging out with each other. We're a friendly bunch(dont read too much into flameice's comment, he's from austin anyway) and we'd love to show you various games and teach you how to play stuff. Plus, i bring snacks :3 If you have a car or something you should definitely come by. I used to be really shy about meeting up with people but these meetups pretty much took care of that. You'd have a great time and would thank yourself for coming out.

dioxideUniversa Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 with mixed feelings, i will have a greatly reduced presence from here on out. there are certain aspects about the meetups / the scene in general that i'm really not all that comfortable with, and while i offer no apologies for this, at the same time i do not feel it's reasonably realistic to expect everyone around me to accomodate those needs. i feel a sense that i am not really compatible, and trying to force it is going to be more trouble than my worth to the scene which, due to generalized anxiety and other troubles in my life, i do not have the mental or emotional fortitude to go on with. thank you to those who have ever played matches with me and those who have respected and supported me. in some ways i feel terribly lucky, and it makes the decision very difficult (such that i have ideated on it many times, but never committed.) i will miss having people to play offline with. netplay is still "fuck that" status (though it's probably where i'm going if i still want to play.) i'm sorry i won't be around to give people OD combo angst whenever CP hits.
