Just from what I've seen it looks like the game no longer has an S-tier. The characters that were good in CS1 will still be good in CS2. I don't know what all the crying is about tho.

people say arakune is s tier but still not as bad as CT arakune but i haven't seen good footage of him yet probably becauseee he's the only character i know very little about so i don't look, rofl i should try to watch scary footage of him and mess with him in training mode a bit to understand him more

also jiyuna said cs2 makoto > cs1 bang but at the same time jiyuna says shit like "ragna's gatlings to 6a are worthless because he cant combo off of them" and then lists combos off of ragna's 6a so i have no idea what to think of his posts

also spoiler alert it's way too early to tell shit except "x's pressure looks at least decent" "y's damage looks at least awesome" platina might as well be s tier for all we know.

not to mention shit like matchup information was poor in cs in america, i don't trust random posts on dustloop to teach me much about overall character strengths unless they, you know, give me good reason, because i don't believe we actually have that much overall scope of the game. YEAH I PLAYED THAT ONE HAKUMEN WHO IS RLY GOOD ON THE BUTT COAST SO I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT MATCHUP FROM ONE HAKUMEN

my only concern so far is that bang's pressure may be easily shat on by barrier block and jabbing after tk nails, and maybe arakune is retarded, but i dunno. ZREB LEARN ARAKUNE

otherwise, every character looks fine, and the tiers look tighter once again, most importantly bang still seems much better than ct tager/haku/bang and ct rachel/tager/tsubaki

and they made litchi even MORE FUN :3

EDIT: I do however think that Mu is secretly the best character in the game and has some unknown unblockable setup that deals 10k. :3 Every match I've ever seen of her it appears the Mu player has no clue what they are doing.

though there are a few changes i don't particularly like, like lamda's airdash back being even better ajfkds, or valk's 236c being an overhead(Not sure what the point of that move is anymore in blockstrings..seems sort of iffy as a far range anti air, too...), or carl 8D not being true air unblock anymore, or jin 6d not taking a primer anymore(236d dash 6d please ;.; ), or ragna 2d not taking a primer assuming it didnt get useability buffs, or makoto's 3c being worse, and hakumen's 4c being air unblockables. so, i don't think it's perfect, but it's definitely looking good and those reasons aren't a big deal at all.
