backdash is a sure fire way to be safe if you time it correctly.

This alone would make the backdash worth practicing. (I will hit up training mode as soon as I get home).

Also, does anybody know how good Mu's backdash is? Is it the same as Lambda's or slightly different. I'm inclined to believe it's worse.

As for how I know the frame data, the Guide button at the top of the page has the Frame Values. IB subtracts 5, air IB 10, barrier adds 1

That, and if she does A parser and you don't react fast enough, you run the risk of getting thrown or mixed up. It's not very strong, but that possibility is there and backdash is a sure fire way to be safe if you time it correctly.
Now, online, getting thrown is an issue... But 236A > Throw shouldn't be getting people... Just block low, and be prepared to throw break. Worst case scenario - if you know a Parser is coming, just DP =/

A popular thing some Lambda's do is 236A > 4B (overhead). You can throw her out of this.

Yes, but B parser is -0 and C is -4. Both are safe, and Lambda can be very annoying off the B parser. By chicken Blocking (air blocking) you are giving yourself more frame advantage to punish. Air Barrier IB should leaves C parser at -13 (I think) and you can punish. Regular IB also works, but you get more from an Air block when it's an option.

Well I was actually talking about just B parser, but that helps out a lot. At -0 and -4 air IB and/or backdash both sound like good ideas I haven't tried before. I'll put those to practice.

I was just hoping we had other options on blocked/IBlocked B parser. I find myself reading our local Lambda player's B parsers and instant blocking some of them - but then I could never follow it up! But again at -0, that explains everything even with an IB.

I think her back dash is as good as Lambda's. Also, the C parser back dash is tricky. Just make sure you buffer the backdash so it activates when the attack would have hit you.

And yeah. DP beats it out clean as well. xD
