Just for the record, every GG player was invited to the parties, not just the American team because of their results or whatnot. That's why people like the foreign teams US, Europe, Shanghai etc. but also people who did not take part in the tournament like Caer (Sweden) and me (France) for instance or non-players friends of GG players were also there.

Then, I apologize for the insult from misinterpretation. I know there were teams that did not attend that had entered the last chance qualifier( whom I'd assume would have loved to be there). While we were specifically invited and escorted to the Lounge and told the the players would like to meet us. No "not just the American team because of their results or whatnot" intentionally implied. :china:

And fortunately for me as should it be about results I would not belong there. Well played to all of you, congrats making it this far and performing well. Too bad Raekwon, you almost got them, damn few tidbits of life of their last player. Did not get to play nor talk that much with any of you (official and unofficial US) but seeing ElvenShadow totally wasted and during the second party and wiping his spilled beer was priceless. Only played 2 or 3 matches against him few days before, his very solid Faust owned me for free. Dude, I am going to Nara as you told us, cute animals for the win. Take care all.

The 2nd party was mostly just karaoke and more drinking, much more tame than the 1st party I spilled my beer? I dont even remember! LOL!

I dont mind taking a slight break to do more drinking anyway :P

This weekend sounds like it is gonna be crazy, I hope I have time to enjoy it to it's fullest but between putting my apartment together and orientation I might get fucked.

Especially now things should be cooling down with the exception of the new stuff coming up in a few months time.

ElvenShadow Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 Well I honestly dont know if DF2 (Dream Fighters Festival, the 2 is for the 2nd F) will be back, but I only assumed it was an annual thing and since the last one was a success I figured they would do it again. I will make a point to ask around about it this coming weekend if I remember. I really hope it returns though because I want to participate and if theres not going to be GG at next SBO then it would be nice if we still had a huge GG major to look forward to
