Am I the only one who thinks that slowdown-Blazblue makes the themes sound more American metal than J-metal? Cuz that's what Blazblue should need. :psyduck:

Hell, Nightmare Fiction sounds like something out of Amon Amarth

Has anyone else felt that the intro to Lust Sin was inspired by Van Halen's "Right Now"? Slowsin kinda makes it seem even moreso...

And don't get me wrong guys, I fucking love the BlazBlue soundtrack and feel they were perfect as-is. Yet when I heard Nightmare Fiction slowed down... hell that one sounded way better slower to me, personally. Then I tried it with other tracks.

define american metal and j metal, cuz if your are defining them by the tempo, then lest just say that :vbang:

Slo Fiction sounded better until the around synthy part before the chorus, which was ehhhh.

Slowrequiem wasn't too bad. a little cluttery sounding though. Like, if it were arranged it'd sound great.

Slowsin sounds pretty cool.

Surprised by how good these sounded. Would love to hear Marionette Purple like this..

For Bang Install and Condemnation Wings, I need MP3s. My Continuum Shift CD, nor the retail Calamity Trigger CD have arrived yet, so my tracks are limited to the Calamity Trigger LE OST and the three DLC characters' themes and Hazama's with regards to Continuum Shift.

Magic number I used for Lust Sin (and maybe White Requiem, can't remember, but it worked for Bullet Dance too) is 38000Hz btw, assuming you started with 44100Hz rips. (yes, I just changed the frequency)

My friend is the one who slowed down Nightmare Fiction (and I dunno if he just resampled it like I did, or if he genuinely slowed it down, most likely the latter) so I dunno about that one.
