I get killed a lot in this game but that's probably because I just want to attack all the time. I die to the monsters just blocking. edit: Is it just me or is the camera too far away and everything looks so tiny in battles? Maybe I need a bigger TV but that shit is really small.

Essentially, we borrow projectors and screens from our school library and play video games every Friday from 1p til around midnight. BlazBlue is relatively new to these gatherings, but my two friends and I have been bringing it for the past month or so (one PS3 and two 360s). Also got a few kids here that play(ed) Guilty Gear ^^ So... Guess what I'm saying is, if someone's in the Charlotte area and wanna chill at my campus for a few hours, go for it ^^;;; Mind you, I've never hosted an event, but it shouldn't be terribly difficult, seeing as it's a university, easily findable with a GPS or Mapquest. Thoughts?

Yeah I feel you on that. Garret's always shouting at me to do flashy combo's but you can't b/c combos don't do jack shit for hit stun against anybody big so you'll just get hit for doing them...which kinda makes me wonder why there's even a combo system in the game if anybody bigger than regular enemies can't get stunned by doing them. It wouldn't be so much of a issue if the big enemies like the troll/greater lycanthrope/warg and stuff didn't show up as often as the do...
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 You can cancel attacks with dodges at any time. Also, learn how to do synchronized block, it's insanely easy and stuns pretty much any enemy for at least a few free hits, in addition to filling your focus bar up really quickly.
