KBnova Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Hey Norcal crew! It's been so busy for me with work and such but I heard the news about GC closing this month . Very unfortunate news but I just moved to a new apt with plenty of space for casuals. So anyone wanting to get some AC practice (and the hopefully +R soon) let's set some time during the weekends to have gatherings at my place or anywhere else. I live in the East Bay area though but I am also willing to drive down to San Mateo since most you live there too. I am very very excited for +R and Xrd more but let's get these rusts off! My roommate is also good but needs more experience aside from Anji and Zappa and dumpster diving Sol.

Also while it's mainly a Marvel/AE/KOF session in El Cerritto alot of the FDM guys are trying to learn GG. Not hosting this weekend due to Lanhammer but anyone that wants to roll by holla at me

KBnova Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Was messing with Ky in training mode for his 3HS.... its good and bad once you learn slashback on 2nd hit. But if you manage to get knockdown and throw and early 3HS the last hit is incredibly good, can't slash back it and hella hard to reversal and is hella frame advantage with good gaurd gauge build. Ernest should spam this on every knockdown. Everyone should actually learn to slashback this move on 2nd hit. hella easy with potential good damage output. Also tested cancelling out the first hit into stun edge or stun dipper and both times are the same slashback for last hit of 3HS. So basically all you have to do is crouch block and slash back as you would and it will take care of those 3 possible situations except for 214K. But you should be able to react accordingly since there is more start up to overhead.

I also think you can just backdash out after normal blocking the two hits, but Aginor told me that you can't, so I need to test that out too. Though you should certainly be able to do so off of an IB.

I haven't tried IB but I imagine that would work since I tried practicing against sols new fafnir set up and was able to SB and autogaurd it from IB the the strings prior.

Also tested out pressure set ups and his 3HS is actually jc from first or 2nd hit. Ideal set up would be for the 2 hit but you can jc. 3hs (1st hit) > air S stunedge FRC > IAD etc though. which is very cool.
