Although matt coma doesnt think so, i think many players espically blazblue players dont wanna come to xanadu's in fear of getting there ass wiped. Then not being able to simply press start then leave the room. i invited a few players, who dont lie that far, offered them rides, and theres no school and they turned down with no good reasons. Oh well i just think maryland ahs a bunch of scary'd cats!. I was never like that, i got wipped using bridget and i came back for some more till i finally was able to beat players who i never use to be able to beat. (out of the like 7 to 10 people...ten being a bit much guilty gear players) i even finally won 1 of 3 matches in the last xanadu guilty gear tournament i entered in. Against that new jersey dizzy players, and press's slayer. So all in all good things do come from coming out and taking a few beat downs. unless you are a mindless autopilot player who cant comprehend why they there losing.

That's.. a bad reason to think people don't want to come to Xanadu. I was with you at first, but that's just silly. Maybe people don't have the money, or simply don't want to explain their reasoning with not coming? Maybe they have things in their family to worry about, or some other personal situation that they don't feel the need to explain? Just because they don't have school or work, doesn't mean their time is free.

im speaking from people that i actually know somewhat well next to very well, these same people much rather play at home against players who they can easyly and or play online (blazblue) and get there beat there. If you notice most players that visit xanadu on a regular basis are high to decent players. Most of the players that i have tried inviting who claim they dont have anything to do, i have also offered to pay there way and pick them up and they still refuse to go. It take a whole lot for a man to admit that they suck at something they enjoy like sex, or sports. So they make up an excuse or try and pinpoint oher things they think make them better to make up for there performance in th games they are not so good at. Im not only talkin about bb players.

I dont understand if you can play online all day, why you prefer to play online in fuckin random internet lagg. over playing offline. A player off xbox live lives up the street from xanadu's offer him a ride and still refused to come for no reason. But stays online all day long anyhow. Another friend is damn quick and eager to play friends outside xanadu in streetfighter . When xanadu is brought he gets cold feet. There are many many players who come from alot longer of a distance then the players i have invited and they make it out just fine.

As far as Xanadu, I've posted to a group of about 30 active locals in Baltimore knowing that at least 15 would be interested. I got turned down for fucking Dodgeball, 2 weeks later I got 9 of them to show to a last minute SSBB tourney of all things -_- . They range from SF, Tekken, GG, and BB players so I got nothing. I do know that driving is an issue for a lot of people it seems and I drive a coupe soooo pickups can only go so far when I already have 2 passenger seats dedicated.
