Wow, maybe I'm just out of the loop completely but the Portal ARG was fucking intense.

I especially love how some parts are so matter-of-factly stated like

"Put in the order given in the bottom right numbers, these images will give: "9459 C6CA C8C2 03B8 128B 7CC6 3068 D4FD". This string is the MD5 hash (the encrypted code) of a BBS number, "(425) 822-5251",[13] registered to an unpublished landline in Kirkland..."

"In that message were actually letters hidden behind their Hexadecimal counterparts, that, after being converted to EBCDIC..."

I mean, that would have been my obvious first thought too.

So I've been playing LoL again.

Yeah, suggested items are a joke.

The AP ratios are all posted on the forums. General rule of thumb though is that casters have a .7-.8 on their skills, .3-4 on ults, while non-casters tend to 1.0 (except mord and a couple others)

You rarely want to buy a stone on any hero, just because other early game items like brutalizer are just so game-altering.

If you're having a strong farm mid with Ashe/MF and don't get more than 1 level of hawkshot before 13, a 8 minute BF sword going to an IE will pretty much end the game if your team is paying attn.

Only +gold/min chars are critplank and tryndamere, and you still don't wanna get more than 2x avarice because it'll slow your gank gold.

I actually quit LoL weeks ago because even after hitting top 500 ELO rank, you still can't avoid being queued with random people who have no intention of even trying to win :/ You can think you've finally gotten out of matchmaking hell, then Riot bends you over and queues you up with duo queues whose only intention to sit at fountain and recite poetry in all chat =/

I'm not going to be posting anymore at neogaf about this since I think I had enough of my second run of 15 min of internet fame. Ironically enough this second run is once again related to MvC3! The first run was like almost 10 years ago when my friends and I teamed up with Madman's Cafe to produce those MvC3 photoshops. =)

But unlike that expose, this is factual and not a joke.

Nah, I've been posting this list for weeks now, but I did it for fun because I knew people wouldn't believe me. I posted on gaf and srk as well as this thread. It's not my fault Gamestop messed up and revealed what I had mentioned (Jill/Shuma DLC). lol

I'm posting other tidbits now at gaf, because if I go back to posting at SRK, I'm going to get Henaki'ed. :psyduck:

Ahh yes, at the mercy of the mods. Niggaofthewind suffered the same fate at the hands of G-Blood during a time when it wasn't as cool to hate on Blade.

Oh ok that's certainly interesting. Anyway I actually posted those lists all on the same day some weeks ago at various places including SRK, but it's just that people ignore my posts. Hell, I admitted it in Keits' front page story and people still ignored it. lol

people wont believe anything unless you have some solid shit to back it haha. just dont do this more than once because as you can see on gaf if i talk about the game (even without actually talking about future content to be announced) it gets misinterpreted so i am pretty much just never posting on GAF fighting game pre-release threads ever again :(

Yeah, I stopped already on gaf, since I was already getting ban threats by random members. The mods there are ban happy.

man fucking BLACKCLOCK veteran mode is so hard, Yuan you play on 360 or PC? because I think we probably need full house to beat the zombie mode man.

I did split screen with my noob friend and it was just impossible, nor on my own.

just btw you were perm-banned for "immediately" creating another dustloop account to try to circumvent the temporary (one-week IIRC) ban that Gwyrg gave you. sure, the temp ban was for unnecessary trolling, but it was just a week. besides, Gwyrgyn is reasonable.

Actually the temp ban was like 3 months. He was super pissed for some reason haha. Oh well.

Also, it may be epic fail on the soccer vid but you gotta remember what to countries are playing.

PC. But I can get the 360 version as well. PC version is janky as fuck right now.

Black Ops' single player is phenomenally presented. Though it's full of things that make you wonder (How did they get there? How the hell are they getting OUT of there?), the story is vastly more gripping than the "well damn wtf are we supposed to do in MW2 after MW1? WOLVERINES!!!!!".

In spite of Treyarch being typically judged (and not without reason) as being the B-team for CoD, they've actually managed to step it up for Black Ops.

So the real question is how is Respawn going to light it up, now that Treyarch has proved that they can just keep CoD going with perfect competence.

Sivir is easy mode in LoL. Her boomerang throw thing scales quite nicely over the course of the game, and in spite of an ult that sounds like a bland stat booster, its boosts are powerful and fundamental and with a big enough AoE to make it a game changer. Big movement speed buffs are always good. It's funny to go 21-2 and do so while asking the people playing what the abbreviations they're using mean.

Uh, perfect competence would be a stretch, but I will give them credit for the single-player. Aside from dubious casting of Sam Worthington, the actual narrative is far more interesting than MW2's.
