Saru Kada Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 gabe what is your opinion on EDF 2 PORTABLE, if any
BagLunch Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 EDF 2 PSP is a port of the PS2 EDF2. The PS2 EDF2 is arguably a more content-rich game than EDF 2017 (i.e. the 360 one, albeit without the awesome teammates and some of the new weapons), as it has more enemy variety, and a second playable character that has a completely different set of weapons and has a jetpack to manage. On the other hand, the PS2 one was basically unplayable as you got towards INFERNO difficulty because the PS2 couldn't handle all the lunacy that's happening, let alone in 2P mode. One thing I wonder about are the controls. It used both analog sticks for moving/aiming, but the PSP only has one analog stick, which you will almost certainly use for aiming. I don't know how infuriating it will be, though. If you've never played EDF 2, then it's probably worthwhile. I wouldn't be surprised if the graphics and enemy counts have been further scaled down to accomodate the PSP. All that said EDF! EDF!
Orikasa Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Lol I came across a random AH3 YouTube vid and this was in the description: Those who loved Guilty Gear and was disappointed in Blazblue, should look forward to this game. This game is amazing and the flow of combat feels more similar to GG than BB managed to do.
Byuusan Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Lol I came across a random AH3 YouTube vid and this was in the description: well. It not Wrong
BagLunch Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Long weekend is like the summer of sam, only less tragic and more manly
ghostgoodboy Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 If Long is long, then Long weekend is for sure Long weekend.

BagLunch Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Capcom Unity official post about AE DLC has the most amazing quote I've ever seen from a Capcom person: "The second is that you can spectate matches that include the four new characters. But you can neither play as or against these characters. They will essentially be the shadows on the wall of Plato's Cave (Plato is a Grand Master Hakan player)."
geogaddi Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 i JUST played tokido this weekend he is FUCKING good at mvc3. his skills are VERY solid. and he is fucking CHEAP as hell and does the safest, most effective ways of killing u. he did seem to fuck around a bit, wasting his x-factor to kill my first guy and not saving it for dark phoenix. he blocks everything and avoids situations where he has to block mixups. he is literally at the level of the highest mvc3 players in america. perhaps not the top 3 in each major city but he is definitely at a level where he will beat 95% of tournament entrants at a major tournament in a race to 10. tokido is definitely one of the best japanese mvc3 players i've bumped into online here in asia. and he's only at 2nd lord. here's the thing, mvc3 isn't mvc2. the 10 years of experience? WORTHLESS. i played mvc2 for 10 years and fucking infiltration from south korea beats me 10-0 even tho this is his first versus game. the engine is so different that IMO it's better to have NO mvc2 experience in the first place. especially with the mixups dealing with left and right crossups, not high and lows. furthermore, a standing jab was NEVER that strong of an anti air in mvc2 but now it is very very strong. u gotta break out of the old habits. IMO tho, daigo isn't gonna win evo. unless the top 8 in japan's blazblue community decides to come to evo to win mvc3, america's top players will not ever lose. but daigo is definitely good enough to make a LOT of money in MM's yo ohhhhhhhhhhhh
ghostgoodboy Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I'm detective Cole Phelps and you are about to get fucked.
sweetvids Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Man, 2nd day of work and already I'm sick of it. Fuck waking up at 5am
ghostgoodboy Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 fucking sucks, also backfires your goal of keeping up the ideal healthy and buff lifestyle. but don't you work graveyard? how you waking up at 5 am, should be falling asleep this time.
Saru Kada Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I think he gets assigned shifts randomly that start at 7 AM, 3 PM, or 11 PM he only worked a lot of graveyard last year because he traded for them. but graveyard sucks though
