West Coast Canada IV: "Ah yes, 'Guilty Gear' - we have already dismissed that game!"

Fairfax reminds me of Edmonton in that everything is far apart and you need a car. Except that there's even less public transportation than Edmonton, but the place is a lot greener.

Hmm, the Public Transportation section of the Wikipedia article on Fairfax fails to note the lack of Public Transportation.

Perhaps you should update the article with the truth.

And see how long it takes before Fairfaxian watch dogs strikes down your edit in order to continue the masquerade.

I think we all pronounce it with some sort of drawl. you've linked an unaccented version, I don't think any of us would even recognize that if we heard it in real life.

shiiiiieeeeeeeeeeet indeed

ggs everyone this weekend. I truly had a good time. I apologize for just leaving in the morning without saying goodbye. I didn't want to wake anyone up and I had get back to the hotel by a certain time to check out.

I think had enough KFC, church's chicken and benkei that would last me until next time around... which is going to be soon, probably. to honour Sherwin's return to the Dustloop forums, I will write up a Sherwin style shout-out post.

Mike: Thanks for letting me stay at your place again. I don't think we even played any fighting games together... but that's OK, because it's all about Fatal Frame 2 which we'll finish next time I'm up. I'll be getting my motorcycle license pretty soon (aiming for this week, we'll see!). nice hug pillow btw

Torry: good for you for playing GG again. now that we have some people playing guilty gear, it'd make more sense that we post at a GG/BB devoted website. GGs all around, we'll have to play some Starcraft and come up with epic team cheese strats.

Ray: shit good times going to EA and chilling at your place. GGs at pen puzzles, arm wrestling and MVC3. for next time, I'll improve myself in all areas. my right arm and steel pipe needs more work.

WUU: dude you got thick legs. good idea for cleaning up all our KFC and mess before the real mike gets back. GGs at MVC3. you play well, but you should go back to HAGGAR.

Peter: good stuff at the gym. I can't believe I haven't been doing that core technique for crunches. just by doing those exercises this weekend, my abs feel so much tighter. GGs at MVC3, good to see your Venom come back.

Alex: Good to see you again man. I don't know if you still check this thread anymore. If you do, just wanna say I regret not spending time playing or just chatting with you man. too much Marvel this weekend, and not enough GG!

Clarenece: OH SHIT IT'S HAGGAR. GGs at MVC3 man-- next time the steel pipe will be more effective.

Alexey: good playing you again man. I suggest adding Haggar into your team. His steel pipe is unbeatable. :D GGs man, hope to see you again when I come back.

GGs everyone. Next time we meet, we'll get more chicken.

on bieksa's OT winner:

Sharks coach Todd McLellan said it was one of those goals that his team could simply do nothing about.

Phoenix Wright live action movie

probably less interesting than the Takarazuka Revue rendition of Phoenix Wright

I take it back, it's being directed by Takashi Miike, who pumps out more movies per year than almost any other director, and is famous for hypergory flicks like Ichi the Killer.

The only way it could be better is if they got the director of Hobo With A Shotgun to direct it, and cast Rutger Hauer as.... Godot, I guess.

Why is there so little posting here wtf

In Witcher 2, the most powerful weapon in the game is the bear trap. They work on things you wouldn't even expect them to work on, like floating Wraiths. You stick like a dozen or more on one spot, and whatever big enemy steps on it falls over dead. Reminds me of Jedi Knight 1 where you could plant your entire inventory of mines on one spot while the final boss is regen'ing, then lure him on it and he goes FLY AWAY... except that the bear traps in Witcher 2 are also reusable
