It's simple, just takes precise timing. Imagine you are gatling-ing 5A 5B 2B, and then imagine you are whiffing 5A then pressing 5B. The second 5A is out for a significantly longer time. So if you are either going to connect with the 5A OR whiff it (because he is invincible), you can put in 5A 5B 6D 2B and get either 5A 5B 2B or 5A (whiff) 6D. Does that make any sense?

But Huey, this is stronger than blocking gold burst. This is punishing gold burst.

I agree, i don't have a ps3 so i can't test anything, but i just thought i would add that to the list of OS's

The 6D OS pretty much works exactly like the Valkenhayn command backdash OS (wj.A > 4BC > 5B) for punishing slow reversals, but it's slightly less lenient in terms of timing due to the recovery time of 5A/2A.

I decided to test the OS on whatever the Valk OS worked on (for LinearWasBanned's sake) and found it's only really useful for punishing Gold Bursts and Jin's C-DP. So far I can't get it to punish supers that the Valk OS can dodge like Lambda's sword drop or Ashura.

Someone said the OS works on ID, and I'm pretty sure this isn't possible due to how fast the start-up is.

For Inferno Divider? No it's impossible. It's 7 frames start-up vs 9 frames of recovery for your 5A/2A.

It actually doesn't matter if you use 5A or 2A for the OS. If we assume you timed them perfectly meaty (kind of hard given the BB tech system but whatever), start-up frames doesn't matter and they both have 3 active frames and 9 frames of recovery.

Actually looking at the frame data, I need to correct myself here, Bang's 5A/2A recover faster than Valk's wjA, so technically Bang OS should be more "lenient" and should dodge the same things the Valk OS dodges. The discrepancy probably has to do with the input timing for 6D i.e. you're not inputting 6D immediately after the recovery of 5A/2A, whereas the Valk OS kind of just buffers the command dash in.

edit: Nevermind, after further testing, I realized it just has to do with the super flash, which fucks up the recorded inputs for the OS. I'll have to test this with Linear more later ...

another new corner combo oki setup.

blah into 2B neutral jump j4C jC command grab wiff Cnail.

this oki setup beats rolls/quick/no tech options (if timed correctly) and pretty much forces people to respect your corner oki.

combo does 5.5k if they decide to do something stupid (with reverse daifunka ender)

it actually loses to neutral tech jab/dp if you are too close to the opponent (its possible to do the setup slightly outside of jab range, but you are in recovery of the nail), so only use this if they like to roll out/disrespect your corner game. if you don't throw the cnail, you will have the advantage.

Can you tell me what combo do you use after the C nail hits? Can't get that 5.5k combo.

hey im new to bang since ct anyway, but i managed to find a random combo with half decent damage n oki,

5b, 2b, 6c, jd, 2b, 5b, ja, jb, j4c JC, j4c, jc, does about 2500, for the people who cant 6c iad j4c, sorry if its alrdy posted,

webnail 5C 6D 623B 5B 6C j4C j623B reverse daifunka.

in general, " 5B 6C j4C j623B reverse daifunka. " is always the highest damage ender if its possible in combo (at some times, the proration is too much).

also, normal grab RC goldburst into corner combo does almost 5k with 50 without super ender.

Oh, right, that's why I couldn't get the combo, the opponent tech all the time |:. Btw I tried that a couple of time, but against some characters, the nail just whiffs, like against Platinum, Carl, Makoto, Litchi, Tsubaki... (didn't try all the character). So, is it me or the C nail doesn't meaty on every characters?

i was lookin for a little help, i noticed some of the jpn players after air combo use b nail after jc, wanting to know to thing, why they use it, not go for poison, n everytime i try to do it, the nail never comes out i always seem to land, any info to this would be good thx

its actually an attempt to do a combo, which works off drive CHs/2C/3C/6C/623B/j623B

for example, FC 623B (close to opponent) dash delay 5B 6C delay jump forward 4C jC Bnail dash 5A Explosion (bnail second hit) 5C 6D 623B combos

Adding onto this, you want to have 6D after 5C.

Though doesn't the combo for CH super crash omit the 2B?

yes... OMIT 2B for the first list and OMIT 5B for the second one
