I don't even want to get into how wrong this is.

Haha.

Severin has salty memories of TK corner loops on pad, maybe?

Real talk, I have never played fighting games on pad. I don't see why anybody would want to. Also, the logic of how bang combos are somehow less droppable on pad makes no sense. Why would you be dropping the DP? Most of the time, I see people dropping bang things due to timing issues, which has nothing to do with your input device.

haha, btw you can't really play in arcades on pad :3

i dunno, most of the combos i dropped were because i did something that wasn't possible, not because of messed up inputs.

going to fix those bad habits :3

and if i play pad, i'll get blisters :3

I would never go back to playing on pad.

I just meant from a literal and physical standpoint in my specific example (623B) it'd be easier on pad (at least to me it SEEMS like it would be). Obviously there are things that would also be harder on pad than stick, and stick is definitely better than pad.

And like I said, me dropping stuff is probably just because of how I grip the stick. I can literally feel the difference between doing 623B on the left or right. But like I said, I've gotten passed that for the most part. Maybe it is a timing issue, but I think it was more of a physical execution issue which in the process messes up the inputs/timing of other things.

I haven't played fighting games on pad in about 2 years. The one time I randomly decided to try and play Bang on pad, it was impossible and I couldn't even do the simplest BnB til a few matches later. It just felt weird and wrong.

EDIT: Just to add another weird example that happens to me: In training mode depending on what side I do FRKZ on (I can't remember which side respectively), I get the input EXACTLY on one side and on the other I get some needless directions in there. That doesn't seem like a timing issue, just some random physical execution thing. I don't understand why, so I'm gonna stick with it being just because of the grip.

That grip difference.

I find everything on pad to be easier, but that's simply because I'm used to it. I don't get blisters, i rarely drop combos and it's easier to IB. But this is all because I play on it all the time and don't play on stick.

You dropped combos because you're a scrub and can't combo 2B off of wallbounce.

Early 2B > whiffed firepalm ftw.

hmmm, where at?

EDIT: actually, that combo could've been legit, i just couldn't make up my mind if i wanted to do another supercrash or 2B, so i was clusterfucked when i did 2B

Huey gets tricked into reliving the horrors of 3rd place. :3

man i couldn't even combo into daifunka, i kept dropping that combo over and over.

but i practiced before evo just in case i ran into carl..

i remember, the first game i played in norcal i actually lost to ginseng due to fatigue and shit.

EDIT: EAST COAST OPTION SELECTS ARE STARTING TO COME OUT OF ME, NOOOOOO

i lost because ginseng played better than me that game, but i fixed that later :3

yeah i ended up going into troll mode when i was more "awake" from driving all night. but yeah, i lost to ginseng, followed by plastic chicken who lost to ginseng, and then spark beat him i think.

good times, maybe it'll happen again this year, it was hella fun.

nah, dacidbro is good. I"m starting to believe he really is the BEST.

He always places so well in California tourneys and has loads of matchup experience.

A close second would be Kensou.
