There's several definitions of "fuzzy", that's one of them; I've heard extremely vague high low off an airdash mixup called a fuzzy a lot of times.

Oh! We could even combine them, by using jB j4C instead, to bring in the other fuzzy where they get hit by something that wouldn't have hit them because they had just blocked high then crouched. A fuzzy fuzzy.

Fuzzy guard is just the fact that after blocking something in your standing animation, you retain your standing hit box when crouching. Thus, you can be hit by stuff that is normally crouchable..

A succession of air normals, isn't necessarily a fuzzy, though, it can set one up. :D

ok

I have experienced many people erroneously referring to an airdash into extremely vague high low as fuzzy, then. I'll keep that in mind.

Yeah something as simple as forcing them to block a standing jab they could normally crouch under, after blocking a jump in, is technically a (albeit rather useless) fuzzy guard set up.

Generally in animo gaemz it's used for mix up.. something like deep jump in, into double jump > air normal, and even though they crouch under it, they're still in standing blockstun and still have a standing hit box while blocking low.. or just landing and doing a low because they'll be blocking high out of fear of the fuzzy.

Actually, I've found the Jump in > 5A fuzzy EXTREMELY useful for characters like Ragna, I've never had 5A > 6B blocked over here in Cali lol

Well, I mean, how different is 5A6B to 2A6B?

Legit question, not fucking with you

It looks different, fucks with reactions hard. People aren't used to 5A even existing in mix up.

Also, people just got done blocking a high and usually returned to crouching after the 5A.

5A doesn't force enough blockstun for a fuzzy guard.

fuzzy guards are usually used to set up high low mixups in which your character's sprite will be forced in the standing position(which allows you to get hit by certain things that aren't normally possible.

even if 5A had enough blockstun for a fuzzy guard (lol) there would be no immediate threat of an overhead unless 5A was like level 5 or something... (with your fastest overhead being rising jC on really tall characters)

They were talking about doing a jump-in then 5A, normally the 5A would whiff a croucher but due to fuzzy guard it will hit.

are we playing the same game?

EDIT: ohh ragna....nvm

EDIT2: why are you refering to ragna?
