How exactly did you get remotejoy running the game? every time I try it it crashes the moment i get to the title screen. I've looked around but so far no answers

I'll hold my judgement til I actually play people in terms of how good or bad he really is since it depends on the match-ups.

But in terms of just him and his moves/combos:

I don't think he's worst than CT, but I don't think he's as good as CS1 simply because there's a lot of situational stuff to consider. If you do the harder combos, his damage is still probably the same so that isn't really an issue. In general I just think his combos are harder than CS1 only because of the changes in certain moves properties. You can't just do whatever the hell you want.

That's Day 1 Impressions though without playing people, so it isn't saying much really.

I will say that any new people thinking of picking up Bang better really learn their stuff, cause they won't be able to just do whatever and win anymore.

for me right now i gota work on my 6d->623b, in cs1 i didnt care for that timing. how do you link those too? should the 623b be delayed or done early?

Just input 77 or 99, bro. No need to make it harder than it needs to be. I agree though, the new IAD combos are trickier than anything CS1 had to offer. Reminds me of grinding out dash combos back in CT, haha.

oh ya...diagonal inputs I thought about them in the middle but in reality you have a butt load of time to input all of it. But omg yes i remember trying to do 5a 5b 2b 623b d.2b 623b daifunka. That was so hard to do and the timing man. Memories. lol

Too be honest, everyone in CS2 seems like a decent to good character, even the 'top tiers' Makoto or Hazama lose a lot more in CS2 than say, Bang and Litchi did in CS (at least from what I saw). Personally, I think the reason why people are thinking that Bang isn't that good anymore is because they're using his ridiculous CS iteration as a comparison; which obviously makes his CS2 self seem pretty bad.

bang has some problems, but he is okay in CS2.

some things feel a bit "unfair" but he kinda deserves it after CS1

he'll feel fine in training room until you play actual competiton.

his pressure feels weaker than alot of characters (which doesn't seem right)

i don't mind that his damage is low.

his mixup is still good.

6A is gd tier though.

ps: he might become a victim of CT, where he wasn't that bad of a character, but the other characters were just way stronger. hakumen and tager seem to have the same problem, i wonder what that reminds me of...
