Best FC is Hotaru though IMO.

Lol, seriously though, if I want to shit talk, I just think of something and, if I feel it's good, then I'll say it. I don't "learn" shit talk.

Best FC with no cost is Ragna's 2C. It's +1 on block, and is quick. Best FC with cost is Hotaru.

I guess Arakune's 5C would be 2nd place for no cost FC, and Jayoku is the 2nd best FC with cost.

Well, it depends how you rank the FC's. I basically go by risk vs reward. Ragna's 2C has little risk, but really high reward (BK combos). Of course, I'm simply going by theory-fighter. I don't use Ragna, so I guess your opinion would be better to go with than mine. Although I'm quite sure Ragna's FC is better than Jin's. Jin's FC is shit. It's hit box is smaller than what it appears to be. And I believe his hit-able box is really high up as well...lastly, it has head invulnerability for 2 frames. But I can never seem to be able to put those frames to good use...

Edit: On paper, Arakune's 2C fatal is crap. But in real life...:vbang:

And really, my shit talk consists of "so-and-so can't do combos" or "so-and-so can't play"

Apparently, that's epic shit talk. Unless I'm forgetting something.

It also isn't a no-cost FC, BK is 50% to activate. The standard combo off FC isn't much reward compared to Arakune/Tager/Litchi FC. And his FC combos are harder too. BK FC combo isn't just brainlessly jumping with D, it has strict timing/delays on positioning the person in the air. And for the standard FC combo, 22C -> 66 5B is pretty hard too.

This is why I stopped doing theory fighter, usually it's not practical, theory fighters are usually scrubs, especially on these forums.

So who exactly can't do combos and who can't play? :keke:

BLAZBLUE TOURNAMENT OCTOBER 9TH

now that I have ur attention :p

I worked to be able to organize this as soon as I could. I only got the information from the venue recently, but I hope 2 weeks is enough time to get a decent turnout. Without further ado, here is the tournament I promised yall.

A few major points I'd like to address:

  1. I need setups for this tourney. TFNS provides 4 XBOX 360's & 8 LCD TV's. That means I need 4 PS3's + BB:CS for the PS3 as well as 4 BB:CS for the 360 and a memory storage unit to access data on the XBOX's provided since they have no data of BB:CS on them.
  2. I need to know if there is anything wrong with the ruleset. Please let me know (with a reason) and i'll fix it if I need to
  3. I need someone to volunteer to help me with bracket creation
  4. Please show up :p

1. You don't need that many consoles for a BB tourney, real talk. It's cool if you want to hold a bunch of casuals though.

2. Either go all Xbox or all PS3. Speaking from prior Street Fighter 4 tourney experiences, multi-console tournies never run correctly. Your call though.

3. 2 out of 3 winners/losers final and 3 out of 5 grand finals plz (personal peeve of mine, other format lasts too long).

4. This is the week before Season's beatings. are you sure there isn't an SF event being held?

5. If you want more heads, I suggest advertising this on other sites.

6. I personally think just having BB is boring. Though I guess it's kind of hard to provide set-ups for other airdash fighters since they're all on PS2.

I feel like you wouldn't need 8 set ups. BB:CT at T10 was run on 3 set ups if I remember correctly. Also 10 am is mad early for people commuting from like Thornhill, Richmondhill and Markham...you as the tournament director would have to be there at like 8 am to get everything set up.

With that being said, I won't be there because it's the day before my birthday lol. But I wish you guys all the best, I'd show up if it were any other weekend!

also xbox as a platform for this is a bit........ iffy

mainly controller switching. Its not as easy as ps3's controller switching.

also xbox pads fkn suck for fighters, another reason why you should use stick tinman

especially if its gonna go multiplatform

also i dunno if i'm wrong here but could it be like in SSF4 xbox vs ps3, xbox version is faster than ps3?

Just get GG:AC on PS2. I vote PS3 for BBCS because the majority of people who play BBCS are on PS3.
