Leo7 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) Fuck, you caved into that fucker Zeero's demands. Might as well post in the West Coast Canada thread. In all seriousness, the Montreal Annual Tournament in June is where you want to be at St1ckBug. Yes, master Leo. Yes peon. Where were you at T12. See you at TOryuken. Edited January 4, 2012 by Leo7
A.X.I.S. Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 There IS a problem with support. Too much NAH in this community. I can think of a lot of netplayers who, if they showed up to majors and travelled, would raise the average skill level of a tourney a fuckton. Last year's Evo didn't have representation from every region either. It was basically PNW/Cali/Texas (and a small amount of EC). You can tell from this website that there are some strongholds from BB across the nation, but sad to say, this game just isn't serious enough for people to travel. It's not that the game isn't serious enough, its the fact that people who got the game is too poor to travel or too pussy to travel.
Leo7 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 It's not that the game isn't serious enough, its the fact that people who got the game is too poor to travel or too pussy to travel. poverty and sadlife hurts the game too much imo.
mAc Chaos Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 poverty and sadlife hurts the game too much imo. If any of the SF players spilled over onto our game like they do for every other Capcom game we would be fine.
Zeero Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 It's not that the game isn't serious enough, its the fact that people who got the game is too poor to travel or too pussy to travel. being the cleaver me, let me make a conclusion about this statement SF: more popularity from rich dumb kids = bigger pot = more incentive to travel for the poverty = travelling = winning big money = popular game with 20k prize pot tourneys = more travelling BB no popularity from rich dumb kids = smaller pot = no incentive to travel for the poverty = team NAH = dead game with 200 dollar prize pot tourneys = free money for random faceroll top tier japanese trolls roldy is an exception, hes just a rich kid, not dumb at all

Zeron_X25 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 ok so I am going to give you some much needed advice. 1- Don't mash on cat chair. I'm not sure how many times I baited it and got a fatal counter out of it. Don't just throw it out. There's a reason why you don't see good Ragnas mash on ID even though it's the best DP in the game. You get predictable and you get hurt. 2- Don't mash. I tried to reset you a couple times only to have you pressing some button from B to C. When I got used to it, I started throwing you a lot and you were getting Throw Reject Missed all over the place. I remember a round where I grabbed you 3 times in a row with TRM on your wakeup and perfected you because of it. Blocking is really good especially against characters with not so good mixups like Ragna even though I use RC a lot to make it impossible for you to block sometimes, you still gotta try. 3- Do better combos. You generally want to combo into BBL instead of the wind super. The wind super is best used as a mixup and to gain wind back when you need it real bad. 4- Don't mash, again because I can frametrap. The matches against my Bang. You didn't block a single double palm thrust after 5B > 2B > 5D and that's a pretty common and known frametrap. 5- A lot of this comes with experience. Number 4 comes with matchup experience so I'm sure you'll learn when not to mash after you get fatal'd for the millionth time but it's always better to have a look at the frame data in DL. 6- IF you DO want to mash, do a smart mash. For example, 6A and 236A are NOT smart mashing on wakeup. I can beat those with literally anything meaty. 2A is a smart mash. 2C is a smart mash sometimes but you have to be very careful when you use it. Wakeup grab is not so good because meaties completely beat it. 7- GGs. I hope I didn't come off as harsh ._.

I hope I didn't come off as harsh ._. 1- Mash more chair so he will be afraid, so u can get out of pressure easily cuz he will try to bait for it. this is mind games 2. Mash more, the more he asks u not to mash, the more throw he is gonna do. who the hell RC to do mix up and waste tension? mash out of it. let him waste the 50% bar. 3. Tempest Delia is not a very good super, do not use it in combo or randomly, instead you should be mashing it when u are being rushed, u get a little invin and u can get out of pressure. 4. Mash back dash along with your mashing for option select. 5. frame data are pointless on netplay cuz u donno how many frames u are behinde anyways. don't worry about it. 6. mix up your mashing, when he tries to bait 2c mash, u wake up run in throw. don't have to becareful, u just have to DO IT. mind fuck your opponent, and mixs it up. dont play like a book, this is being flexible in game play 7. Play Tager online for gg I hope is not too hard to do. And thats how i play 8. I f you want to learn rachel, go looke for Julien in waterloo. He is gdlk. Edited January 4, 2012 by K2

Roldy Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Just don't be predictable...which is actually a lot easier said than done, everyone has habits Mash cat chair sometimes...mash throw sometimes...etc.
Leo7 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Or do predictable shit that's completely safe. Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
