I remember when I first went to LG to play GG and got double perfected by that mashing scrub John smh. It took me months before I could even come close to competing with these guys so it really is just a matter of taking your licks.

I was lucky enough to have entered the community back when we went to Lovegety every Friday, and back then it was totally packed. Now, newcomers don't even get a chance to play (and not just you guys, but me as well, you have no idea how badly I wanna play GG and BB again). I really want to play BB offline again too. And I don't want to wait for BB:CP for that to happen.

Nobody "attacked you" in that whole thread. In fact, you attacked us first with this post which got Hermes pissed off " No offense but you guys are gonna say the same shit about GG when CP comes out. I think I'll play something as solid as P4U where Ive actually learned a char a bit and at the very least play it till either CP or Innustice instead of jump aroun games bc their new...capcom community at least got that right over anime community :P" 2. I dont think anybody mentioned anything about commitment except you in that one post again I guess. If anything about commitment, its that we've been playing GG for > 10 years or something, i don't see anything else about commitment on that thread. I guess my troll post about "BACK IN MY DAY" would count as well but that post if not already obvious was troll as fuck. 3. The only thing anybody "attacked" was "P4U being a solid game" over any other anime game in existence, because it is not. From then on the whole thread went to get trolled because "P4U is a solid game". Now as to the whole situation about being closed off... We don't "exclude" people (well, sometimes we do due to personality reasons) or discourage people trying to learn the game. People naturally get discouraged because of two things imo... mentioned by many others. 1) Small community which has been around for a while means we really are a close group of friends. For a new guy, seeing this is discouraging coz you feel unwanted since everybody else knows everybody and nobody knows you. Its not like capcom where the community is huge enough that everybody is new and don't know people outside of the select few friends. In fact its weird here because we're such a small community, that even tho there are people you obviously dislike for certain reasons, you eventually become ok with each other. Fuck you Ralph, come back and get bodied =/ Where did this guy go anyway lol. 2) Anime game skill differences are REALLY apparent. And they carry over to other anime games. Essentially the new guy is doing 2 hit combos where we are doing 20 hit combos and they die in 2 combos. Its very discouraging for new players to play only against a bunch of seasoned players. so uh yea. you can take this post however you'd like. I personally think at this point nothing much matters for the anime community because the majority of us are old and sick and don't really care about FGCs anymore. Its just a way for us to gather up and chill and past time as a group of friends. EXCEPT FOR THE YOUNGSTERS LIKE BRIAN AND ROLDY AND LINEAR? THESE NON EDUCATED BLACKS (inside joke pzpzpz) JUST SIT AND HOME AND NETPLAY/TRAINING MODE ALL DAY AND NOW THEY ARE THE BEST ANIME PLAYERS. So yea, it was really frustating to be denied practice for a game I was sorely behind in just cause the community is close knit. Like ive said before Im not the only who feels dissappointed by this, whether they openly admit it or not. As for my other issues I acually kept secret till now cause Russel insisted, well ill just say it now since I dont give a single shit about the dude anymore. Last year's NEC Leo hermes and k2 were renting a car, and they apparently were okay with me joining and splitting the cost. To make a long story short, even tho I was joining in the car apparently Hermes told Russel something to the effect of "We only want these three in the hotel room, we dont want the other guy", if i remember correctly, and then Russel had to make this whole song and dance about how I would have to sleep on the floor in leo's room and blah blah so he could hide this litle gem from me. I found out from him tho about hermes said and naturally was a little offended. I get the whle "we r just close knit freidnss" thing but man, its a little much sometimes. I mean u say ur not closed off but tbh, even tho i had no interest in nec befriending any1, I could feel that entering the group prob wouldnt be too likely anyway, I mean everyone's a stranger until you give them chance and get a lil acquanted, but w/e. And then i heard this, and honestly every1 I told this thought it was fucked up, I mean I was riding in the car and I get forced to stay with russel for more money cause u guys wouldnt bother to get to know me before hand anyways? Thats uh, I cant think of any other word for it sry, but its just plain retarded. So one more thing, if u guys dont really care about FGs anymore, why are u the guys organizing tournies, shouldnt, u know the guys who actually foster the community and help grow the community as well as oh idk care about the game and its community be the ones who organize them? Shoudlnt they be considered/labeled not only the community leaders but the core community itself, and not a grouup of old friends who by the admission of all of you only really do this to catch up and hang out?
