Chumaralupa Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Yeah I was going to record two Friday's ago but then KoFXIII got in the way, but now that I've been exposed to what it's like playing that game on a decent command interpreter I don't think I'll be touching the game till console release. Anyways, for some reason my PS3 won't output to the recording card since apparently it encodes game video output with HDCP, but the 360 doesn't so I have it connected to that, but then the problem is that you have to play on the xbox which I know you'd rather use your stick etc. AND the xbox can't output to the small monitor for reasons I can't figure out (seriously it's still bugging me these days) so you have to play on the big TV which I know you don't like. I'll mess around with the stuff and check out forums boards to see if I can get the card to record the PS3 to solve all the issues, but the only other choice is to record in non-HD and record games that are on the CRT which is piss easy, but then the videos don't look sweet and HD. Your choice, I can't do anything this Friday but I'm sure everybody wants a break since EVO happened anyways, but we can make plans for next week.

Chumaralupa Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Marq, I've had the equipment to record and stream for a long time, it's just a hassle and we didn't always need to do it. Chris, you should try anyways, especially to get good practice and help your opponent practice as well.

(No I didn't mis-grammar the above sentence on accident) Ok so I forgot my sister is coming in next week so whoever wants to chill this Friday at my place is free to do so, next week is kaput (That's a mafia word right?). I don't know how long she's planning on staying so that's that. We can record matches this Friday as well, I'll just put it on a CRT and record non-HD.

Sol-Bumguy Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) It was nice to see most of you guys at EVO, but SO SORRY about not recognizing most of you (being legally-blind and getting no sleep do not excuse that)....Had no idea that so many of you cut your hair:( Also sorry about the issues with the GG tournament, but I hear you guys did well in the BB tournament+GG casuals-- great job <3 Hopefully, we can all get together and play GG/MvC3, etc soon-ish. Speaking of recording BB matches and getting good 'n stuff, Hazem is willing to throw BB tournaments and stream them if we get at least 10 people for a tournament. Of course, he lives pretty far away.... but maybe just as far as Ruben lives anyway, maybe even closer to some people than Ruben.... So post up if your interested, I would like to see if we have enough people to do one. FYI he lives on 54th ave. and Baseline.....

Ok so, I'm glad Hazem is willing to do something like that, I'd probably join. When would it be? Also, bad timing but the Microsoft store in fashion square mall, aka. the same place the MK9, MVC3, and SF4AE launches were held is having a casual fighting game thing tomorrow as well. Now I'm guessing that doesn't include BB but I know some people might want to go to that. So either we just stick to the plan for my place tomorrow, or we push back my place till Saturday so that whoever wants to go to the Microsoft Store thing can do so without anything conflicting tomorrow. What ya'll want? PS: Lol at Justin recording on his phone. Don't worry I'll have the recording setup on a CRT.
