fatewalker Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 last i check at http://guiltygearx.com/am/cha_all.html that katakana was フラメント ナーゲル (FuRaMeNTo NeeGuRu). that sounds like Flament Nagel to me. however i can see that katakana of フラスコ (FuRaSuKo) being Fresco, but it sounds more like Flask. as in the Flask that Philippus Theophrastus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim aka Paracelsus created a homunculus in.... i guess i am reading into it too much since in the Slash mook the stage is listed in English as Frasco but i am not here to argue. it would be nice to see some more vids with Diaolg in them. or perhaps the opening vid, if there is one.
Mitsurugi Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Bungiefan > Thanks, that was indeed the Guilty Gear XX Drama CD Side Red and Side Black.
CoreWolf Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Bad news for non X-boxers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_360_games Its 360 exclusive
CoreWolf Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Lol I know, but for the time being I'm willing to be that you're going to be waiting a while for it to transfer Though knowing the GG series it will probably be available on the PC sooner or later at least
Zazz Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 it'll HAVE to end up somewhere else for being the supposed huge leap in the storyline (and sure its shaping up like that) i doubt daisuke wanted the fans to find out about what's going via NicoNico or youtube rather than actually playing the darn thing
Akira Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 #gamemp3s have ripped the OST =] http://www.gamemp3s.net/
Gadwin Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Awesome thanks - Heres another link which is just for the album itself http://www.filefactory.com/file/d652b8/ (In the link above you have GG and the new dynasty warriors game in one zip file together)
Sephi_hatu Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 A port to another console will likely first depend on how well it does in the states. I get the feeling tho, that this game is probobly gonna achieve a loss of revenue for Arc.
Circuitous Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 #gamemp3s have ripped the OST =] http://www.gamemp3s.net/ Volume I, at least.
Zazz Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 it sounds alot like Soul Calibur from what i've heard, but I like Soul Calibur's music still want Vol. 2 to listen to
LightningCancel Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I wish my internet was going faster so I could get this quicker.
Circuitous Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I like how "Brainwashing" rocks ass, then it starts to get kinda fancy like the rest of the songs, then it's like "Wait wtf am I doing" and brings the riff back. Overall though I'm really enjoying it.
Zazz Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 i rather like "Dignity" myself. and it is the theme of Justice-Valentine (Form 1)
Sephi_hatu Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 i rather like "Dignity" myself. and it is the theme of Justice-Valentine (Form 1) Dignity was the only one that was really above average in my oppinion. I wasnt really expecting much from Vol. 1, and thats exactly what I got. Most of it isnt really anything special. If youve evr played an RPG before, you've probobly heard similar things. Got dumped in the garbage after I was dopne with it. Waiting for Vol. 2.
Fugue Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 If I hadn't already known there would be bagpipes from the second tier of the final battle (Dignity), I probably would have laughed my rear off at Brainwashing.
Thunderhorse Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Looks as if our earlier assumptions were correct, because Vol.1 had nothing but orchestral stuff. I wouldn't have been happy if I had spent $30 on it. The only song I liked was "Brainwashed", but it's not worth $30. Please don't complain at me for not having broad enough horizons, because I just don't like any song that doesn't have an electric guitar, and nothings going to change that. Can't wait for Vol.2!
Zazz Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 "Visitor" is a good track too. But really "Dignity" is the best one.
Circuitous Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I hadn't gotten up to Dignity yet, checking it out now. Despite not rockin' ass the music is good. I'll probably keep it around, except maybe the tiny tracks.
KD Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Beh, someone beat me to uploading it. XD I just got mine in today.
Zeitgeist Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 To take the topic off into a slightly different road for a moment (if I may...), has there been any word on the theory of Justice being Valentine? It was all the rage a while back but I haven't seen (or maybe I missed) anything on the subject. Has it been debunked? Confirmed? Or are we still waiting on that?
fatewalker Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Justice is dead. Valintine is Valintine, not Justice.
Sephi_hatu Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 To take the topic off into a slightly different road for a moment (if I may...), has there been any word on the theory of Justice being Valentine? It was all the rage a while back but I haven't seen (or maybe I missed) anything on the subject. Has it been debunked? Confirmed? Or are we still waiting on that? Its pretty forgone that valentine becomes a NEW Justice. Not the old one. The old Justice is dead. Valentine is a NEW Justice.
Zazz Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 just what is her backstory anyway? and why does Sol get headaches around her?
Mitsurugi Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 and why does Sol get headaches around her? It happens when he is next to a Gear. It may mean Valentine is a Gear. Or her balloon is.
Fugue Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 That's odd, though. Her voice doesn't have that echo effect full-blood gears normally have. Maybe she's got some kind of Gear-supressor, like Sol? Or maybe it's a continuity oversight? Or maybe Sol just gets the headache from whatever Valentine is doing to sublimate Gears?
