Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 i have no such accessory to purchase ; o ; Then I guess you need to purchase more stuff or do some other things to unlock it. ^^
furix Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Yeah need to be as diverse as the Paradigm system = w= Btw, you should not ignore Cure/Cura... they are actually good skills to equip at least one. It really helps when you happen to be a little bit below the required brave to one shot your opponent. Instead of trying to land an extra brave attack, which could be risky, you can always cast some cure or cura. Also, for overly defensive opponents like Ex-death, you can not risk it and get some free brave here and there. Specially since the brave you gain isn't that small. But, if you aren't very used to it, then I guess you don't have to. But, just a few pointers :3
furix Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 lol yeah, prishe is such a glutton xD i'm trying to lvl her so i can finally get her report done and collect some battlegens. also need to figure out this lai strike everyone keeps talking about so i can finally deal with that stuupid lvl 90 feral chaos in 000 x.x You could try to battlegen it off the moogle friendcards you get via the Mognet. There's two that I know of.. One has Yuna, the other has Kain. I think it's the farplane moogle(I thiiink), and the No.1 Moogle or something like that. As for creating it, I forget the exact ingredients, but it actually isn't that much. If you wish to know the set up, it's a character set to level 1 equipping the following Saftey Bit Iai Strike Hatless ArmorLess Gloveless WeaponLess HP=100%/Near Loss Lvl 1-9 Lvl Gaap > 90 Side by Side/Sunrise/Whatever you want. Basically, any enemy that's level 91 or higher will make the whole thing activate and you get a 99x multiplier. Of course, you need to make sure you wear no equipment, because well.. it's pointless since you are level 1 anyway. The great thing about this is that it lets you grab all the awesome KP bonuses of those level 100 dungeons, and you can breeze through the later dungeons. Saftey Bit is there so that if you do get hit, you'll survive with 1 HP.. then as soon as you land an HP attack you can heal to 1000 HP again via the use of EXP to HP. Side by Side could be used so that you gain a lot of assist meter, so in the case you are at 1 HP you can just use Assist change to survive. This set up can pretty much make you invincible. I think it is side by side, I forget which accessory it was, but it's the one that I think blocks EX gauge for the exchange of having insane assist building.
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 god, i dealt with so many manikins rolling that, and it seems everyones running it if not for kp farming and chaos hunting x.x I wouldn't be surprised if peopled entered tourneys with that build, or is it wrong for me to think this game deserves an awsome tourney scene? >o>
furix Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Iai strike is pretty much always banned for equipment tournaments.
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 well then just stick a noob sticker on my forhead and i'll go sit in the corner quietly now (~ > o >; )~
furix Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 lol Well, most tournaments are usually No equipment, no accessories, no summons, final destination. But, sometimes there is a tournament with equipments and stuff here and there. The game is a lot more fun when you get to use equipment and come up with awesome accessory set ups. But, I feel like you should play the game without any of those too so you get a feel for the game too without having to rely on your equipment and accessories.
Blade Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Right now, equips aren't the problem, I'm more or less working out what all accessories to give each character based on their style.
furix Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Most characters will benefit from an assist based set up. Almost none will benefit from EX set up save for Gabranth.. but even then you want Gabranth to be able to use assists.. He needs them.
Blade Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Not necessarily what I meant, as I don't rely on EX heavily or Assists heavily. My main is Sephiroth, so I hit-confirm a lot with his projectiles and other stuff. I like to optimize Iai Strike without having to sacrifice HP or defense, basically.
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I personally love ex-mode too much from the first game to ever get rid of it, plus flashy supers are flashy ~( o w o )~ and kuja's ex baisically makes him a wall of swirling hitbox flying right at you <3 i just wish it wasn't 10 seconds long on a good day x.x
Arakune Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 lol yeah, prishe is such a glutton xD i'm trying to lvl her so i can finally get her report done and collect some battlegens. also need to figure out this lai strike everyone keeps talking about so i can finally deal with that stuupid lvl 90 feral chaos in 000 x.x People still have problems with Feral Chaos? lol Just spam, man. My lv62 Firion died after taking out 60.000 HP of that guy.
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 i spam emporer traps and cover the entire field with dreary cells, flares, dynamite, mines, sigils, and he does nothing but dodge for 4 hours then hit me with 1 combo into hp for the win =p and your compasion is duely noted.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Well, I'm finally finished with 013 and I'm Free2Play with. What I'm beginning to question is.........where are the Diamond Rings?!
Blade Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Feral Chaos does way too much dodging for having such a huge hitbox, that's why you need to corner him with Projectile+Assist+HP Attack if you can. In my case Sephiroth can just Octaslash him from just about any wall or floor surface, just gotta bait dem dodges. *still mad nobody's tried my quest yet to comment*
Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I need to max Gilgamesh first if I'm gonna beat a lv 200 Garland. D:
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 i don't know how to download your quest or even if i can =p i haven't even looked at quest builder
Tsuki Garyuu Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Well, just download it and extract it. Then use Media Go to transfer that data to your PSP once you hook that up to your computer.
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 i just got a whole lot of none of what you just said (~ '3' )~
Blade Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) i don't know how to download your quest or even if i can =p i haven't even looked at quest builder My earlier posts have it as attachment. Just download the zip, unzip it READ THE README and take the warning, then put both folders in your PSP's Savedata folder (via USB Cable/your PSP's USB Mode), it should be under PSP/Savedata/___ and have Dissidia's savedata number under it. Then just go to Creation and run the Quest, or go to your Friend Card and import the Friend card. And since it's been requested, I "can" make a weaker version of the Quest, just gotta reduce their levels. But, I dunno if I'll bother reducing my Friend Card, lololol Edited April 11, 2011 by Blade
FormerlyUnknown Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 well 40 minutes and 6 tries of spamming comet with union knight and i finally beat that first lvl 90 feral =p -lights a sparkler- woo
furix Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 If you want to beat feral chaos quick, you can always xcopy this set up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXCkxSDJFa0
Blade Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Haha, I'm tempted to build a Level 200 Feral Chaos now. :bad: Speaking of Level 200 though, I haven't been able to figure out how to set up HP higher than 15k. The in-game boss has something like 23k HP. Edited April 11, 2011 by Blade
Ichipoo Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 So guys, Someone found a way to get all foreign DLC to work. They were able to obtain all the current JPN region costumes and music packs released to work on both the USA and EUR versions of the game. However, it's going to take some work tinkering with your PSP and CFW. At the moment, I'm still a bit shady about this so for now, since it involves going into newer CFW and risk having saves being corrupted, but if you're interested, please withhold on PMing me for instructions until I post saying that it actually works, which probably won't be until tomorrow since I'm done for the day.
