EdgeKun Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Hey NW, We are talking about running a tournament for BB, possibly GG and MB if there is interest in the Portland area. Of course we have our venue that we run a few different types of tournaments at, this could be a stand alone event, or go in with our other fighting game event (Beatdown). Right now we are just looking to gauge the interest. Any players in the Portland area, we know some, but also know there are more, Vancouver WA? +1 for BB, GG, and MB. :D Haven't been paying too much attention to BBG since I'm scrubby at KOF13 and don't really bother with Tekken or Capcom fighters (as much anymore). I'd definitely make an effort to show though if you started featuring the three mentioned fighters! :D
HellSap Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Been looking towards reviving the BB (and GG!) scene, I feel like we do not have the numbers to really make it worthwhile, yet. Last tourney down here we had 8 and seattle had 8 and they stomped us. CS Extend is out, so the game is getting a bit more exposure and is more entertaining. GG news has got me to try to rake together a scene once again, but we'll see how that goes. Ed/Edge was asking me to try to host another tournament at Epic Gaming, just trying to see who all are willing to travel down. Note : I got a place to crash for mostly anyone.

I am somewhat interested (there's a really good korean bbq near my place but 25-30 people would take up the whole place and I don't know if they do reservation...)
