Another boring Saturday...

There's apparently a competitive Yugioh TCG scene here (in the same building where I live!!!). They play like everyday at the library, since we get an hour and 15 min lunch break.

They even went to a tournament today at the local card shop, so I was very envious... since it's been so long since I've been to any kind of tournament...

Maybe I should start playing Yugioh...

Just go with the date that the highest number of people can make it. I have another weekend to stay in WA and I'm not even a part of SS anyway, so it's not a big deal.

Actually, after asking a few people yesterday, it seems like a good idea for it to be held after Christmas. It allows for a little more time to gather presents.

So we can hold SS on the Friday the 28th or Saturday the 29th.

I've been into fighting games for years, but unfortunately never find anyone else that wants to play with me for long... I'm going to assume that you're all actually better than me. I want to lose, and I want to lose a lot. I'm not super-bad... I can still beat arcade on hell just fine and everything, in just about anything, but I know there's a huge gap in AI and Player skill. I'm sick of retard bots.

I live in Tacoma and I'd love to get a few tips from you guys. The only way to get better at a game is to get your butt kicked by people better right? That and hours of combo practice. If you're getting together anytime soon or if anyone wants to stop by my place, play some BB/P4A, pet my wolf, or have a drink/smoke, let me know. My internet is kinda spotty but I check my email.

I bought the game yesterday on the PSN Hong Kong servers. It costs $92 HKD ~$11 USD. It's a fun game very Melty-like that plays like an SNK game. Double jumps, Airdashes with height restrictions, standing lows and lots of overheads. Mixups galore and options to choose Run, dash in addition to 2 more skills which can be special moves and/or supers. I might be streaming the game later on today. No online multiplayer and there is no word if its ever gonna have that support.

Lack of netplay is lame, but the game is really really REALLY fun, it'll be cool finding new stuff seeing how it's on a different patch than what STA had. Wonder if anything major has changed for Kagari and how non boss Kudlak is.
