When I think of a fuzzy guard I am thinking of this situation:

hilbvoje.jpgso by that definition this is not considered a Fuzzy guard.  If your interpretation of a fuzzy guard is different from mine then that's fine, I just would never call it a fuzzy guard.

Edit: Also in this tutorial video I made a while back there's an instance of what I think is a fuzzy guard.

the japanese term F-shiki really is used to refer to the situation where an attack hits a standing box when they are trying to crouch. if the second attack would hit anyway it doesn't matter.

the basic concept is that the guardbox doesn't change immediately from standing to crouching, it takes time. hitstop/blockstun whatever locks you into your stance even though you're trying to change.

So characters with a high jab, can do stuff like jC>5A and if the jC is blocked, the 5a will be blocked too. same principle but it isn't a mixup.

but nothing I saw above fits into any definition I know. it's just J.B then j.A.

I was going by the red exclamation point when the J.A confirmed, which indicated the attack struck when they were trying to crouch after blocking the J.B.

it mostly doesn't matter because the jA would hit whether they are crouching or not.

if the j.A would whiff sometimes on crouching it could be helpful.

Only thing I was going on was that it does hit if the opponent decides to crouch, otherwise I'd probably go for 2B after a blocked J.B.

But yea, I know it'll hit regardless.

I'll do more extensive research when I get the game next week, hopefully.

I'll make it. Not sure what combos to put in yet though. And of course the format for Haku combo threads is always a question.

I started writing down a few, mostly the optimal ones. May as well use the format we've been using, though I think we should better clarify between the different starters. I don't think we need a combo from every normal. I think we should list the challenge mode combos too so newer people can get a basic idea of his BnB's.

I'm down with that. You guys will have to post the challenge mode stuff though because I probably won't get the JP version. (Or maybe someone will make a video.)

If everything goes as planned, I should have it by next week. I'll play with it for a few hours and PM you or Mobin, or whoever is opening the thread and give you what I got.

Save yourself the trouble and just rename the current one. Gut out all the useful loops and the 3C CH > 5C connect, replace it with some 2A > 6A stuff, and wam, you're done.

Seems kinda lazy tbh. Besides, I still say the "every normal starter" format is a bit archaic.

Thats what you said about CP and I think you ended up importing anyway

How fast do you think 6A startup is now? 12 frames? Hakumen friend is wondering now with the 2A > 6A on crouching.
