I'm really not a fan of the guy, I really doubt his "oh its my [relative] playing" story. Next time I win I'll say it was my 5 year old niece playing.

itsme Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I didn't add any color pallets since they don't have that information on the guild (or I just haven't seen it on there :/) and I don't remember most of these guy's color pallets except for maybe tenchi since he always donned the red Hakumen and Chibaken with the Baiken color. Also, I think there were like couple of vids with Chin in it (he goes by Chan now, the source was one of the Tachikawa video's commentary).

I'm just reluctant on adding the pallet since players like Matoi (Taokaka player) cycles through like 4 different pallets when I watch him play, wouldn't mind adding them though I don't have the time to watch all the videos right now to take note of them :/.

mAc Chaos Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Oh man that was the biggest help for me with Hotaru. I never used Hotaru because I would always get fucked by wakeup Renka and get 720'd. Once they changed it I started using Hotaru all the time. A while ago I thought that maybe I was doing Hotaru consistently now because I had gotten used to the execution, rather than it just being the input change. lol nope, went back to CT, I was doing wakeup Renka all over the place.

That's why you just need to wait a split second longer to tk a move as opposed to doing it on the ground. I get that sometimes too. When I get that and they block, I just bull shit myself and cancel into Renka immediately since most of the time, my opponent's react late to the step Tsubaki and I get a free 4k ( ゜3゜) Also, saw a post on Mugen in the general discussion thread just now which reminded me about this but I read in the jbbs that Mugen's recovery is like 1-2 frames now compared to his OD which is 5-6 frames. I wonder if we can do FC 6C > Mugen > Renka(1) now? Edited December 10, 2012 by itsme
