tastylumpia Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) FT7 for 20 dollars with me. Sound good? Edit: too slow. ?__? As an aside, DKL still really wants to get a stream up for the SFSU weekly casuals. Surprisingly, no one wants to play SSF4 much anymore, it's all AH3 and Marvel. How about FT7 I win and you come out and stream . Edited February 24, 2011 by tastylumpia
tastylumpia Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 FT7 50 pushups. You down? LOL, only MMing in Marvel. I haven't played BB since they took out the cab and I haven't played GG since the last time I saw you at Rod's.
Eggs&Rice Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 LOL, only MMing in Marvel. I haven't played BB since they took out the cab and I haven't played GG since the last time I saw you at Rod's. Marvel or GG, either way I'll still take you on :bad: Actually, I haven't touched MvC3 yet, so I'd probably lose. Good motivation to exercise, anyways.

Good motivation to exercise, anyways. We can do both if you want, I'm pretty free either way. In the end, whoever wins at games probably loses with girls anyway. Lumpia, FT7 $20 good for you? My bad Dacid, didn't see this post. Let's do this. Edited February 24, 2011 by tastylumpia
Dacidbro Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 ^_^b Coopa still wanted his match, just for reference. He said too slow because I had posted the same stakes just before him. Best of luck sir :]

Soniti Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 You can add the Ramnation tournament that is on the 5th to the first post. It's been moved to a person's house though so I don't know how limited space will be.
Coopa Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Okay, so one more time, and I'm really open to this. Anyone want to Money match me ft5 in Marvel 3? 10 dollar minimum bet.
Coopa Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I'm willing how much do you want to bet? I am willing to bet up to 100. Also, tell me if you don't want to be recorded or something.

I thought when people have money matches here it usually happened on fighting games. Or actual games of competition... Edited March 1, 2011 by ZeroRaider
Crosell Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I will not be able to make it to March NCI. This final semester has proven to be a lot more stress / more work than previously thought. So with that, I will probably not be able to make it to anymore tournaments till June,. Which is sadness, since they were the one thing I looked forward too. So sorry to everyone who I asked to MM matches with we will have to put those on hold. If any of you guys do a random meet up, send me invite through dust loop, if I have the time(probably won't but its the thought that counts :3 ) I'd love to meet up with anyone and throw down. On that note, I hope March NCI will go well. Not that I ever played a part in planning or what. Chun, I'll continue to look for a venue with what little time I have.
Chun Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Thank you for your help anyway Crosell, I really appreciated it. For everyone able to read this I updated the first post of the thread. PLEASE read it, as it will answer a lot of your questions.
KatanaDash Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I will run GGAC this month, unless qwerty is dieing to do so. Also as the aim seems to be making this a bigger tourney, I suggest raising the entry fee to 10 bucks. A bigger entry fee should attract more players. It is up to the community though.

"Mo munny, mo competition." That the gist here? Hope that works.
KatanaDash Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 y u hustlin me. moar players? wut players. I concede this might be true... is socal and Vet coast etc. coming for this? Bigger pot could convince them.
huey253 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 can anybody host two of pnw's finest for a couple nights? for the weekend of bnci. apparently 8 niggas is too much for honnou :3
TaoFTW Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) Uh I don't understand why nobody is talking to the Eudemonia manager for the venue. The manager loves gaming communities and said that he's willing to host semi-annual events. And his dog is more hype than BB dog. We hosted 80 people b/w two rooms with excellent internet and it's nearby hotels, weeaboo eateries, and Kareoke. Parking sucks but if you do your homework then you'll be fine. Edited March 3, 2011 by TaoFTW
qwerty Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 yeah, i don't recall anything about eudemonia being bad.
Chun Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS POST, AND GIVE ME FEEDBACK. I value everyone's feedback in my decisions and plans. The venue itself was not a problem. The big thing that is the concern here is the current lineup and estimated time frame of arrival and parking. The biggest thing being the parking garages with their lock-in policies for the given time frame. It is probably safe to say festivities will take until AT LEAST midnight. This time usually means most parking garages in Berkeley will be doing their closed-doors/Car Lock-IN in the general structures that are the most convenient for equipment bringers and setup people. In other words, THEY LOCK CARS OVER THE WEEKEND IN SOME OF THE NEARBY GARAGES. Also, the counter-argument could possibly be "Show up on time", and to start the tournaments earlier (And given time estimates at testing for Heartful Edition of NCI, that would have to be 10 AM, 12PM Tournament Start), but it is relatively unreasonable, because it is Berkeley. This cannot be easily predicted due to the guests coming (PNW and SoCal finding their way there) and the logistics of setting up equipment/establishing registrations and warm-up periods. I am also concerned for the Money Match/Side gaming that will occur and the congestion that will be generated, because this is still core NCI tradition. However, I'm not completely out of contacting them, as people have complaints at the fallback plan of 3 classrooms and Campus-provided table equipment as some sort of "Ghetto Venue" rather than being inexpensive and comfortable. Oh, and really late, but I've been saying this is March 26th since the first day I ever made this thread, so I emphasize: READ THE PAGE 1 THREAD FOR DATES AND TIMES. ALWAYS. Thank you for your patience. ~Chun Edited March 3, 2011 by Chun
