T.Kang Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I've considered switching my main and sub (respectively Jin and Hazama) to Hazama and Jin, as I've been doing a lot better with Hazama lately. But Tetsu totally convinced me to stick to Jin. Good shit Jourdal!
Moy_X7 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 WTF???anti air 5b>5c>6c = side swap????? No kidding, that surprised the hell out of me, Tetsu thinks on his feet like a boss.
Jourdal Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 When you take Jin through SBO and it's sea of Bangs and Litchi's shit like this must be natural. Him styling on Akira...one of (if not the best since galileo switched to litchi) tagers had me in awe.
Yuushiro Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 whenever I see his match it seems like he does whatever he wants LIKE A BOSS and still winning lol....
Jourdal Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 A rare pokemon, Kogatan's Jin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjlvpvJJhwY
xlolxlolx Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 ^man....thought i was watching a CT match when i saw that ice car at the beginning......
Jourdal Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) gagaga raping people, including 5K DP loops http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs2MXuv9Bl8 (he's the second jin) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5B-YeVJZO0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gu-vpV4713o (7:10 lol ky j.s crossup flashbacks, and not sure why D DP into DP loop surprised me lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZbQNnqSy60 Wonder if following C DP with 5B is character specific...and are my eyes decieving me? or is gaga 866/936 (which is like 92 % ) I have to say....there's a lot more jins now....but my faves/most entertaining atm have to be: Tetsu (duh) Gagaga Stunedge Kogatan Inuo Edited January 4, 2011 by Jourdal
Linear04 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) daaaaamn double 623c loops. 5k meterless without freezing goddamn also lol @ double gold burst clash. what a troll hahaha perfect's and then gold bursts after the win at the next round Edited January 4, 2011 by Linear04
shtkn Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 gagaga is pretty good, but i think he looks a lot better than he actually is due to the fact that his competition doesn't seem very strong.
Jourdal Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 gagaga is pretty good, but he looks a lot better than he actually is due to the fact that his competition doesn't punish his mistakes too well. Yes, i was thinking the same..i think he's a really good jin but...his competition CLEARLY isn't on his level. He seems to be able to runback a bad situation on a whim.
T.Kang Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I actually like Stunedge better than Gagaga. I've kind of noticed how his opponents aren't on par with him most of the time, giving him pretty much a free ticket to victory. Stunedge, on the other hand... HE BEAT FIO, FIOOO. And his offensive seems more solid, relying much less on gimmicks and tricks.

Thats exactly what dacid said in one of his comments, that he was solid and not gimmicky (my list wasnt in order...i named them as they came to mind haha). But yeah once you get pass the trolling and and flashy gimmicks it's clear gagaga runs circus. His win ratio says that much. Also most of the jins i see have impressive win ratio's themselves.
Linear04 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 doesnt hurt to have a basic character that also happens to be very good

Good to know that I ain't stupid and actually notice true stuff. I don't know for you but I wish Dennou would go back to Jin. He was our only light back when BBCS got started (where the hell was Tetsu back then anyway?), he had something going on for him and is the one who found out most of Jin's new combos, gimmicks and such. His offensive game didn't ressemble Tetsu's at all (at least, from what I remember), it would be actually quite interesting to see how would he play. EDIT: Quick question, do you believe that they should remove the sound on Jin's 6A? I find myself blocking it more often thanks to the sound than it's actual startup animation. I'm guessing that Dennou will go back to his roots now that Bang has lost his place among the gods. I wasn't too much of a fan of his but it is true that he was the one who showed us a lot of Jin's stuff in his videos of the early CS days. I for one like to see gimmicks once in a while, specially when you have a way to make that same gimmick into something to fear (j.D cross-ups and j.236D feint cross-ups). Gaga is my 2nd favorite Jin next to Tetsu for that reason. As for your question, if they don't remove the sound altogether then they should at least make it much quieter to the point where it would be nearly unnoticeable. At least now you don't eat a fat combo and you're able to remove a primer if it's blocked, so it's all good XD

I wont lie dennou definitely did start that corner bullshit we all know and love...i just didnt understand why he went to team 5A i watched all his bang matches and that autopilot shit made him weak from what i saw....his jin was far stronger than his bang ever was afai saw. If you saw dennous latter CT matches he was really creative and i liked his jin a lot. Tetsu was in early CS, he was in an alpha station event early on much like CS2...here's him VS satoshi : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwbMnhr_2kY Yes please take away that sound cue OTL I'm guessing that Dennou will go back to his roots now that Bang has lost his place among the gods. Yeah no doubt Gagaga is sick...but i want to see him up against tachikawa...or alpha station or chariot and see how he stacks up to those guys.
smooshman Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 you know his fights were one sided when he landed CH 6B's... more than once.
Remiri Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 A lot about his wins seem to be people over-extending themselves to try and beat him out on frame traps. I am surprised at the lack of patience some of his opponents have. Like gagaga's opponents go american-style and stick out vulnerable shit, or attempt to mash out of things.

I didn't even know that he was already in the scene in early BBCS. After BBCT, I had almost feared that he had quit. I don't know how I've missed out on this . I've stopped following Dennou once he went to Team 5A, I really hate his Bang. I'll have to agree with you, his Bang's never surpassed his Jin. And hell yeah, he was creative as f*ck, this is pretty much was made him so outstanding. I used to call him Mr.Freeztyle if you get the pun, . Edited January 6, 2011 by T.Kang
Moy_X7 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 This KEI guy from Nagaoka Technopolis plays a solid Jin, I'll be on the lookout for more of his videos.
Yuushiro Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 his PSR is the very high so far I think.... 230..., while Tetsu is at 224 and Kogatan is still the highest at 237 all these jins with very high PSR

Jourdal Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 This thread is so dead.... anyways, since it was posted in BBG and no one minded...BBconr is uploading SBO matches every few or so days...i've been watching tetsu/hiroshi/kami-sama/god/insert deity here's matches....ran into quite a few bangs, had some tense situations and clutched it out. Yuushiro Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Tetsu should've observed how did kogatan beat tsujikawa and stole his techniques or something could've maybe won that way... lawl.....
xlolxlolx Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 ...........................i better not be the only one who thinks kogatan plays like a retard (´Д`)
