I couldn't get into 999, I played and beat it but didn't like it at all so I never gave VLR a chance.

And I do agree Clover looks a lot better in 999 than in VLR.

Imo, playing 999 is worth it just because it makes VLR much, much better, so I'd still consider giving it a try.

Hmmm I might give it a shot some time then. But 999 left a bad taste in my mouth with one dimensional characters and plot holes.

For VLR, I like Sigma, Phi, Luna and Tenmyouji.

For 999, Junpei, June, SNAKE, and Clover.

I also prefer Clover's 999 design since it looks more natural. B-but she wants to be like Alice so... yea. I also drew some 999 fanart but it ended up being spoilerific so I couldn't really upload them since I have a couple of friends who are starting out with the game. u3u Would probably upload more of 999/VLR because I ended up really enjoying the game to bits. VLR has some plot of its own but a lot of 999 carried over so VLR gets meatier in plot, just like what SoWL said.

999 is great. VLR is good too. Definitely worth playing especially if you already sank the time into 999.
