Noel's My Wifey Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Not that anyone really cares but I will be able to make it to all 3 days of final round I'm so pumped and hyped for it. Turns out the concert I'm going to is this weekend not final round weekend. Now I'll be able to enter bbcs and mvc3 tourneys. I still need to print out google map directions to the place though.

If not, you're more than welcome to drive into town early and crash at one of our places. It'd be perfect for you to hit our before/after parties and get boozed up Oh man it only gets better and better.

Eshi Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 so I stayed up until 10AM on friday playing exactly 150 matches of MvC3, and hot damn I leveled up hard. My Iron Man and Ammy are way more solid. I'm starting to like Dormammu more but his assists don't seem very useful. Liberation sucks, I don't need OTG purification and it's too hard to follow up otherwise, and Ammy's Cold Star fills the same purpose as Dark Hole and better. He also feels really meter dependent and I like to use meter to safely DHC in. So... what's a better anchor for my team? and I will never play sentinel.

Chris I need to play you sometime this week, one of my biggest weaknesses is Ammy. Also i think you should keep Dorm, his trap game is too powerful you just have to make sure they never get in.

I only need the ride getting there on Friday. I will also need a ride. I get out of class at 11:00 (10:00 if i decide to skip the class after japanese). I also dont plan on staying overnight, as I'm pretty sure I wont be making it into Blazblue top 8. I'll shit bricks if that happens.

Going to FR for one day is pretty pointless, your badge pays for the whole weekend, if you go to the tournament just for one game and leave after you lose its all that wasted money. The purpose of going to a major is to meet up with all the ppl from the community and have fun in casuals and after parties. There's no point of going to any tournament with a losing attitude.

And Andrew, you're going to beat Tokido, I'm going to make FlashMetroid look free, and everyone's going to go home with a big check. Also, only 64 people total (fewer for people in the top 8 in multiple tournies) really NEED to be there on Sunday, but Sunday's the super chill day for casuals that everyone should show up to and level up after almost everyone is out of all their tournaments. Basically, you're paying, you might as well take the opportunity to level up.

We found the gatech building around 2am and a coka cola building. I wasn't sure if you guys were still playing games and I didn't have a way to contact any one so I didn't bother trying to go in. Either way my question is which building do you guys hang out at. From what I've seen in the first post there's like 3 buildings named klause and you all are in #3 or something. where do I go to when I get to the building that has georiga institute of technology on it. You should email your professors to see if you can turn your stuff in early. Just say something along the lines of you need to take someone somewhere, and it's far more convenient to be able to leave around 11 or so =P
FunkyP Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Soooo many zeros online today... MvC3 online decided to work today and pair me with a bunch of ppl with good connections. Too bad i didn't get to try anything new i learned in the lab. Also ppl are better at trying to not get instakilled by Dark Phoenix by running away, Dante Corridor kinda gives them a hard time though. Also word of advice guys Trish's dive kick, don't try to anti air it without an assist.

Going to play an extreme amount of MvC3 casuals before the tournament Saturday. Luckily I have some good local comp so I'm not going in cold. Same can't be said of BBCS or GGAC, haven't had any practice since December. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. If I can get my parents' car, I'll help anyone with a ride situation.

When coming down Ferst drive, you will see a pair of buildings right before the road curves to the right with a large staircase in between them. Go up that staircase and once you reach the top, there's a door on the left. Give us a call once you get there and we'll let you in.
