But i understand that people come to these every week to play fighting games and if thats what everyone wants we'll just keep doing what we've been doing. Any one is still free to bring a copy and play on the projector if we want to/can

Enjoy it if you guys play it at GT this Friday. I prolly won't be there; going to the game jam at SPSU on Friday till Sunday. Saying that, my or Courtney's setup may not be there, so someone may want to bring a setup for that.

Majik16106 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 VP is a freeware. Its pretty fun. and.. its free. So.. Ah3 i love and is growing in popularity. I had a chance to play while I was in Japan last July and fell in love with it. My copy is in the mail. So i prob wont have it for this friday but Id be happy to bring an AH3 set up pretty much all the time after that. Especially if there are extra tvs.. lol. It would be hard to lug my 55incher across town in a 350z. or if need be I could bring a small one if people dont care that much to play it. My brother goes to tech so we both plan on coming out friday and meeting people. We are new. lol.

I will make sure to bring Ah3 whenmy copy comes in and, like several people im sure, i have Mvc3 pre ordered. mvc2 is downloaded to my ps3 as well if anyone wants to play. Obviously since im new i have no idea what usually comes. I heard there is a lot of smash players though?

I'll keep bringing my setup as a spare AH3, BB, or whatever setup. The TV doesn't do very well with split composite signals though, as has already been discovered.

That and the input leniency is retarded. down>forward registers as a quarter circle so to do like 2B>6C with Noel, you have to do 1B>6C to avoid getting optic barrel. Also, Calamity Trigger was stupid. Just goofing off in training mode I got 4k or something with Rachel without meter.
FunkyP Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I remember playing on PSP CT and accidentally nudging the analog stick and taunting or doing a random super constantly. And yes the inputs are terribad. PSP's can't register digital diagonals properly.

Arcsys just really fudged up with the input leniency on CT Portable. I really hope they don't make the same mistakes with CS2 Portable...
