Hi everyone! I just moved up to this region from Atlanta. I'm in Keene, NH (1.5 hours from Hartford and Boston). I was a casual GG and relatively serious BB player, and I'll be going hard in P4U once it drops and I'll be itching for tournaments/meet-ups. I was just wondering what (if any) kinds of tournaments or regular get-togethers there are for folks around this region. Hope to meet all you guys soon!

I'm not in Tokyo currently, but I've been there a couple times. If you're looking for Blazblue, the best arcades/competition I found were either in Akihabara or Ikebukuro. I entered a tourney in Akiba (they seemed to happen every other week or so) and watched a sweet 3v3 (featuring numerous SBO-qualified players!) in Ikebukuro. The ones to visit in Akiba are the obvious ones - the 3 arcades near the Akihabara Electric Town exit (the 2 Sega arcades sandwiching another arcade..."Amusement Paradise" or something I forget the name) In Ikebukuro the only hardcore fighting game arcade was in the B1 of a Sega arcade (the Sentimental Circus-themed one). I have no good description of its location outside of it being across the street from a Neko-themed girly arcade, and they sell crepes (they're pretty tasty :P) outside the 1F of the building. It's near the heart of the busy areas of Ikebukuro...near the Tokyu Hand department store. Good luck! As far as other locations, I didn't find any significant arcades worth revisiting. I've heard that a lot of hardcore SF players play in Shinjuku, but I explored around there for a while with no luck. Shibuya has an arcade or two, but they're mediocre at best. As for 50 yen play places....you'll only find those in failing arcades and a-cho (which is in Kyoto :P). And I know BB has had a lot of really cool events lately - like bi-weekly ranbats/friendly tournaments (that are listed in the arcade), BB-revo last month, and Godsgarden a couple weeks back. That's all the help a weary traveler and BB enthusiast can give you....there's usually GG/Aquapazza/MB in the same places if that's what you're looking for, so you can use those as a starting point if you've currently got nothing to go on. So is there no 100% off of close 2C FC?

Are there any reliable 5C FC or 2C FC combos (on anyone) that do 100% curse outside of the one listed in the OP of the other thread? I found the old ones (which don't work anymore due to lower techable time from 2nd dive cancel - can't get that 100%). If it's listed anywhere and I just missed it let me know X_X If not and anyone is harboring this secret, share with me! I can't get 100% on anyone without doing 2 dive cancels...which just makes them tech. Is there some secret I'm missing? The same 5D works for a far 2C FC for 100% (haven't tested on full cast, works on Ragna), just wondering if there's anything that can get 100% off a close 2C FC.

So does anyone actually wanna play BB anymore? After this week, my week of hell, I will spend a shitload of time in training mode (I won't be around this Friday, unfortunately). I want all of you guys who actually play to help me get better for when I step up to the big leagues in a few months. I wanna be able to rep the US well, and only YOU can help me :D

Can't go to IC because lots of work on Sat, but I wanna come tonight and play video gaaaaames. I'll likely attend but who knows, haven't even played any 3s/BB for the past 2 weeks

I actually used to be a Smash player myself (as well as a bunch of people in the GA fighting scene these days), so when he came to Tech we met up and now we buds, though none of us really Smash anymore. Yea Chris, haven't played MK since that one day and never took SF seriously. BB is my only love atm <3 I'll give you my confirmation by this weekend, I'm super out of practice atm, but hopefully will be up to speed in a few days :D
