Sophisticat Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Pretty sure that's Tenchi. He and 0 are the only ones I know who use red Haku, and I think 0 traitorously switched to Mu. Anyone here who can read Moon should be able to confirm.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 It's not tenchi, unless he changed his gamertag. I was going to assume it was tenchi from the high level play and flashiness. But I just want to be sure. Oh yea, and thread updated. I can only watch so many videos before my google chrome freezes lol, I think I need a RAM upgrade. Oh yea, to answer you Nolan, 0 did treacherously switch to mu as of cs2.
zreb Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Tenchi's tag did change once during the time I spent posting stuff. Someone else's may have too. Kakyuu's? Either way, it's apparently possible. I tried to have a friend read that name earlier, but he couldn't decipher it between lack of experience and low image quality.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Thanks zreb for the attempt, I just sent them to rtl. Hopefully he'll respond soon and can read it. Anyways my suspicion is that it's tenchi as well, but just to be sure.
Sophisticat Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) New A-Cho up and second vid has a good bit of Litchi v. Haku. I think the Haku is Kakyuu. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83Ij1si8k9w Fellow Hakumens, witness the Master Troll at his finest in the above. At 10:40 he exposes his setup in a grand paroxysm of shock and awe! His brilliant mind conceives a plan well in advances, and sees it through to maximum troll effect. Such is the credo all Hakumens aspire to. You would do well to learn his superior mind games. Edited September 8, 2011 by Sophisticat
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 8, 2011 Author Posted September 8, 2011 Yukikaze corner combo was dope.
NeoArtisan Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 lol that was pretty awesome. can someone explain to me why he never ended his corner combos with 3C after getting the knockdown from 5c? does that give you more options/time to deal with wake ups?
SansProtocol Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 lol that was pretty awesome. can someone explain to me why he never ended his corner combos with 3C after getting the knockdown from 5c? does that give you more options/time to deal with wake ups? You'd be correct.
zreb Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 If you watch him in the matches, you'll find he catches late techs with 2b several times and confirming it into an extra 2k damage. Using 2b in this way also stops rolling and forces them to tech neutral, but recovers fast enough to leave you time for some good oki options. As far as I understand it, 3c is just the best option for total damage.
Spark Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 If you end a combo with 5C you can use 5B(whiff) > late chain 2B to time the 2B so it will start a new combo if they don't tech and it will also catch rolls.
mAc Chaos Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Couldn't you do that with 5A (whiff) into 5C? I like how 2B is a meterless roll punish option though. That's something that's been holding back my corner game since like CT. Any punish I could think of would be barely threatening or cost too much to be worth it outside of air tech into 2C punish or air throw.
Spark Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 You can, but if they neutral tech through 5C you won't be at an advantage.
mAc Chaos Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 That's true, but wouldn't that be the same for any whiffed move? Like, if I do 2B and it whiffs through their tech I'd expect that it would be a bad time to follow up with another attack unless I managed to get them to block it.
Spark Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 If your attack comes out as they tech say with 2B which has a total move length of 19 frames you still +13 because neutral tech takes 32 frames to complete. Where as with 5C it has a total move length of 35 frames, so if they tech as you do your move you end up at -3 after whiffing it.
IndigoNovember Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Yukikaze corner combo was dope. Time to go practice that Kishuu IAD.
itsme Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Ryuusei: Haku v.s Tao: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCdCkpnyY3A#t=08m05s It sends you to some midpoint between a Bang and Tao match. Fixed the link: Haku v.s Tao: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCdCkpnyY3A#t=03m18s
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 My bad, thanks for the correction.
Sophisticat Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Rejoice, fellow Hakumen. CSEX version is looking like a mo'fuking boss. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVYgU64n-gU#t=8m30s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v5B4JFDyCI First match http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4-3voavsMA All matches

I'll make a BBCSEX section when I have time and when I'm home. My girlfriends internet takes me 2-3 attempts just to load a dustloop page -__-
Moblin Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Looks like Hotaru's proration got nerfed. There was a hotaru FC into 2c --> 3 loops and it only did about 3.7k. I like everything else about the new haku though!
qwerty Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 hold on a sec, i didn't see him cut a single projectile vs lambda. does that mean what i THINK it means?
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 And what you're thinking is...?
Schneider-X Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 if qwerty was thinking that hakumen can't cut projectiles anymore then.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht8am_PXVWM#t=6m18s Shows that he still can.
entnervt Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Is it okay to post CSEX-vids here? Technopolis 2on2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHwGfrk6noE#t=3m37s --- Taokaka vs Hakumen, ( 05:33 ) Hazama vs Hakumen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCv1Mv9So9g#t=0m23s --- Tager vs Hakumen
Moblin Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Dude, Hakumen never cuts projectiles vs Lambda. They're too hard to hit unless they're the grounded buzz saw, or the Giant wave of swords that scream "void me please sir."
