I personally saw quite a bit of wake up meaties from insects he could've capitalized on with 2d that probably would've caught arakune. I speak of times that included in the corner, correct me if I'm wrong though. But yea basically counter assault/counter/yukikaze, best to least best option.

I was actually wondering about 3:22 right after the 7k combo. It sounded like an overhead but it looked like kune's 5b? Confused about what happened there.

random j.2a to void a bug is what i would have done. The thing at 3:22 is maybe a mistake in blocking. It is not a overhead so maybe he started to attempt an hop hotaru.

I would like to say from what I'm seeing from players like tenchi and kakyuu. They are really bringing out the bright aspects of hakumen, I can't see him being at the bottom as stated according to ryoko in some tier ratings.

I saw a match up list for hakumen and he was 4.5 to 5.5 match ups with everyone so when seeing that why would be low tier?

That match up chart was by an anonymous japanese player on a JP BBS. That wouldn't be that different than one of us making a matchup chart. So I wouldn't give too much weight to it, although not all of it seemed off.

He's japanese so it does have more weight than any of us, minus Spark and Ryoko. Anyways, forgot to post that I updated a bit from last night.

Still, good IB, nice combo selection, and good decisions overall though he seemed a tad more turtle-y than usual. I <3 this guy. He needs more match vids up on YT.
